I had a Grandmother who lived out on Bodmin Moor on a farm,I used to stay over a lot,she died in 1982,cant remember her having any dogs that bit though,she lived between St.Neot and Warleggan,near what is now Colliford lake but it was not built back then,my family home was at St.Austell.

please keep in mind that when i wrote this i had just started my intensive research into their beliefs/history, and despite my agressive tone i really did expect a satisfactory answer.

I was the chap looking at the photos and later getting on the horse . I remember at the time how dumb struck I felt once the camera was in front of me. But it all seemed to work out.

if you have opportunity to enter a discussion with a jw (i am still active so for me it's not a problem) ask this line of questions.. q) are you going to go to the red cross to give blood?.
a) they will answer speedily... no!

I have tried this line of reasoning.The rules of normal logic dont seem to apply.
A well indoctorinated JW is so capable of applying the weirdest mental gymnastics so as not to face up to such absolutely stark double standards.
after awhile the jw's will have to do something about 1914 when it crumbles right before them.
how long can they hold onto this russell-invented doctrine?
It is already happening,gradualy and has been for some time.
Rather than creating an upset and coming out boldly ,we were wrong,they have subtly mentioned 1914 less and less,for instance when was the date 1914 last in bold highligts on the front cover or as a study headline even?
And as our above poster states since 1995 the original real substance has gone already from the doctorine.
Look at the new study books for converts and compare it to the bold illustrations and language in the old 'Live Forever,' book.
As the oldies die out and naive newbies come in it will gradually get forgotten and hardly mentioned,,,,a far better method for damage limitation. If it does get dropped officially it would most likely probrably get mentioned mixed in with some wash language in the questions from readers tucked in the back of the magazine,but I doubt they will even need to do that ,it will just in time pale into insignificance just as other dates have that were once held in high esteme.
