607 started it for me as-well, It was very upsetting not to find anything to back it up within secular history.

SINEAD O'CONNORTHE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES
(Sinead O'Connor)
How could I possibly know what I want
When I was only twenty-one?
And there's millions of people
To offer advice and say how I should be
But they're twisted
And they will never be any influence on me
But you will always be
You will always be
If I treated you mean
I really didn't mean to
Everyone can see what's going on
They laugh `cause they know they're untouchable
Not because what I said was wrong
Whatever it may bring
I will live by my own policies
I will sleep with a clear conscience
I will sleep in peace
Maybe it sounds mean
But I really don't think so
You asked for the truth and I told you
Through their own words
They will be exposed
They've got a severe case of
The emperor's new clothes
The emperor's new clothes
The emperor's new clothes -

There is a quote Franz used by a statesman that I really appreciated, it really struck a cord with me.
The Great enemy of truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest - but the myth- persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. (pg 273)
He realized how much of his entire adult life course was based on the sentiment of this quote. Reading about how Franz dealt with these feelings and the scriptural insight he showed helped me. He came to a point of decision and handled himself remarkable well given the circumstances. I have great respect for the man.

Why don't Dub families have pets?
by MinisterAmos inout of a dozen or so dub families that live near me i can only think of one with a dog.
at mt ex-congo, i only knew of two families with pets, dogs/cats.
the non-dub pet owning percentage around me is near 100%.

Most everyone I know has a pet, we have 2. We even let ours live in the house
Do you live in a big city where apartment living is prevalent?

I am so glad I read it. I started off feeling like a traitor and that slowly went away. I am glad that my husband pushed me.

I doubt it, but one can hope. My husband I want to have children and when that happens we will have to take an open stand. At that time I plan on telling them how I feel and giving them a copy. Until then I just want to keep what little relationship I still have with them.

Outdoor Spirituality.
by jeeprube ini often find myself engaged in outdoors activities.
once while fly-fishing on a sunday, i realized a deep spiritual feeling.
standing in a trout stream, watching an otter swim by, and listening to the gurgle of moving water, i felt closer to god than i ever had in a kingdom hall.. has anyone else ever felt this?

How about a little indoor spirituality, my best experience in 2005 was the "U2, Vertigo tour" concert. It was very spiritual for me, the best night of 'church' I've ever had. The songs spoke to me and I was moved in an extremely profound way.
I can also identify with your "fishing" experience. When I am in a river with my waders on and I look down to see the trout gathered around my feet and legs, I forget about catching them on my fly rod and lose myself in the beauty of God's creation. It is wonderful.
