i can honestly say that in all my years as an elder, i have never seen this side.
most elders that i have known are committed, honest and fair minded men, who believe in what they are doing and have complete and utter faith in the organization.

Hi,
I am not very good at speaking in public,prefer one to one.or a small group of people.However when I got baptised I gave my Testimony to around 150 people,some of these were chinese students who came up to me later and said how much it had helped them.Afterwards the church put on a wonderful buffet lunch.there were 6 of us baptised.
I have always been a private person never one to talk about my life.experiences.Now I tell everyone,I have a sticker on my window,NO JWS. I put this on there initially because I was not strong enough to cope with talking to the JWS when I left as I had visits and was getting confused again.One pioneer looking into my eyes to see if they had glazed over ,even commenting saying "well you look okay to me".
I was going to take the sticker down when I was stronger but have left it on as I have had so many opportunities to talk to others about the WT.my neighbor also asked for one,from that we then did a campaign giving out stickers in my town.I have spoken to people everywhere now Pubs,shopping.family/friends wherever it comes up.
Just take the control back but also realise that the JWS are deceived......People react differently,but when they see you still have love for the JWS they tend to listen more...and give yourself time ,baby steps.

There will always be those who like to control,always have been always will be.There are many lovely JW Elders,sadly also not so lovely.
Luke 6: 39.And He spoke a parable to them:"Can the blind lead the blind"? Will they not both fall into the ditch?
Since I have become a Christian I have seen a huge difference,In some Christian churches they have a sort of JW mentality where they like to control...........but the vast majority of Churches are not like this.I once asked a Baptist Minister "Who do I go to to confess" he said "You go to God",between you and the Lord".raised a RC we went to the priest,as a JW went to the Elders.There is church discipline but if they are truly IN CHRIST they will be very loving and help you in the right direction.
There are Deacons,Pastors,Preachers,Elders,But these are not to be served but to serve,there should be respect and Godly submission.But we are free IN CHRIST in every way.
Galatians 5 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ hasmade us free,and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Love fulfills the law,and we should walk in the Spirit,bear one anothers burdens.Glory only in the Cross.
Many have left the Watchtower not just because they have been thrown out or been abused,lots of JWS left when they learn that the Watchtower do not have the Truth.I am speaking here about Elders,POs.Pioneers rank and file,those witha good JW background....Why do you think they leave?
2 peter 2: 1 But there were also false prophets among the people,even as there will be false teachers among you,who will secretly bring in destructive heresies,even denying the Lord who bought them,and bring on themselves swift destruction.
Many years ago I was privately reproved had to go to a JC.My crime? trying to be reconciled to my ex Husband who wanted re-marriage.The questions were very personal VERY,I was a JW in good standing this was my first crime.The book study was in my home for years,you have to be goody two shoes to have that privaledge.After a very distressing and very confusing time with 3 Elders and a D.O. involved .I had bad advice basically and was told satan was behind everything to kill us all spiritually.I did not remarry and sent my ex away.I remained a JW for 15 more years.
What I would like to stress is that not all those who leave are evil.The WT tend to blacken the names of people who leave I have heard such awful stories.They are responsible for so much heartache,THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING BLIND GUIDES. and the Lord will discipline and deal with this very dangerous cult/religion.
A sister in my old congregation said there was so much dirt swept under the carpet that it was up to the knees.

At the moment I don't believe in the 1,000 and then another test.I believe in Judgment day 1 day.Saved and unsaved,sheep and goats.just like the scriptures say,I know many still do believe in the 1,000 years,and these are secondary issues.
Noah found grace in God's eyes because he believed in the future messiah the seed promised in Gen:He was justified by faith .He walked with God.those who perished in the flood were unrepentant sinners,Noah warned them and preached to them of what was coming but they took no notice.The earth was corrupt and filled with violence.After the flood out of Noahs seed God would take to himself a people .Noah was a type of Christ (not Christ) .
Later there was Abraham and the promises made to him .Also the cities of Sodom and Gommorrah were destroyed by fire.
Galatians 3 Justification by faith.
6 Just as Abraham believed God ,and it was accounted to him for righteousness 7.Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham 8.And the Scripture foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith,preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand saying,"In you will all the nations be blessed"9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
24.The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ,that we might be justified by faith
26.For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Wickedness will be punished as it was in the days of Noah with the flood,and as it will be again.God's purposes and promises are changeless He is Sovereign Lord He will be vindicated.He has sent His son to redeem us as promised.
Don't you see that it is not through a man-made organisation/religion but through faith in Jesus Christ.
Look at the wonderful promises,the wonderful hope for all of you oh my brothers /sisters please listen
1 Corinthians 18-31.For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,but to us,who are being saved,it is the power of God.
19.For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.20.Where is the wise where is the Scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
2.9."eye has not seen,nor ear heard.Nor have entered into the heart of man,the things which God has prepared for those who love Him"

Guys it is not my intention to tear down,but to build up.Just because we have left the WT does not mean that for some of us we have left God and the Bible.Jude tells us to contend for the faith.
There is life after the WT,a wonderful life is still promised to all those who believe on Jesus.Genesis 3:15 is still important .If you don't want to read the www.answersingenesis.org site it is entirely up to you,but there may be others who do want to read it.
The Scriptures I gave well,took me ages to look them up and post them for the benefit of those who are still searching.God is always in control my friends,He has been working out his purposes from the beginning and will see it through until the end.Satan will be destroyed and there will be a NH/NE

The devil does not care how he can undermine the foundation,he will find many ways to do this.Either ways Jesus Christ will be put to one side .He also will try to turn us away from the Scriptures or twist them.2 Peter 3:10-12 tells us of the day of the Lord ,which will come as a thief in the night,It will be God's day,for thousands of years man has shaken his fist at God,argued with Him, about Him,hated Him,man has had his day.Satan too has had his day.He has deceived the nations .All the evil that is in the world can be traced to man,and his sin;sin can be traced to what Satan did by revolting in the heaven of heavens.
Zechariah 12:10 They will look on me ,the one whom they have pierced ,all mankind will see the scars in His hands.Look! he is coming with the clouds,and every eye will see Him,even those who pierced Him.Rev: 1:7.It will be a vindication of the person of Jesus Christ the Son of God.JWS will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.Every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father, Phil 2:10,11.
God has spoken to us in these last days by His Son Hebrews 1:1-2.we must listen to Him there is no other name by which we can be saved.Acts 4:12.

God did not fail he never does ,Adam was in communion with God , Eve ate of the fruit,so they both rebelled,chose to be independent to find things out for themselves,Eve was outwitted by the Serpent who injected doubt into her.
Gen:4 then the serpent said to the woman "You will not surely die".5,For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened ,and you will be like God ,knowing good and evil.
The penalty was the curse and death.the fall.In the beginning God blessed Adam and Eve and told them to be fruitful and multiply ;fill the earth and subdue it.
Gen 3:15 tells us of God's plan what He will do to redeem man.
