SERVICE REPORT 2005 : WATCHTOWER FEB 1ST 2006

i have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.

memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).

most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

Ballistic.....You're so right. I often think of how much happiness it would have bought to this country if the same effort had been put into charitable works.

Like....one person working for the happiness of others for 100 hours a month for 800 years. I know what I can achieve in just a few miserable hours a week.

Two thoughts:

1. Their ministery is an abject failure. If I had a sales team like them I would sack the lot. Jehovah needs to get a degree in Sales and Marketing if he chose them as His sales force. Bad move.

2. (I forgot what I was going to say but it was something bloody fantastic).

Sorry but I'm back to the Australia thing.

Publishers here spent 9 1/2 million hours spreading the good news in 2005.

That is over 1,000 one-man years.

That is like a Pioneer putting in a 100 hour month for nearly 800 years.

Like......that's a lot of time.

And, at the end of it all, they have 134 publishers less than what they started with in 2004.

Didn't any JWs have babies 15-20 years ago?

i was browsing around inside the 2004 library and run across an article that said this: "ever since its establishment in 1914, god's heavenly kingdom has been gathering and organizing its subjects from peoples around the world.

" i hate to read things like that in the publications, for two reasons:

1) because i know that the wts is wrong in thinking the kingdom has been established.

Maybe by "non-existent" he meant - something you can't see.

Australia - The Future - 2006

wow...it's less than three hours to 2006 here is australia.. because australia is such an advanced country, it will be 2006 here way, way before it is in other countries.

like, it's still yesterday in backward old usa.. (forget it, you kiwis - don't bother posting.

there's so many of you living here new zealand is just a part of australia).. yes, we australians live in the future.. i shall keep bttting this as 2006 approaches.. (incidentally, ozzie lives in new south wales which has daylight saving.

I read it as saying that any JW that visits a site such as this will be d'fd.

Am I wrong ?

If I am correct, all these silly apologists will have to go out and actually knock on doors rather than sit in front of their computer to get their hours up.

Qcmbr.........Re: that list of fine qualities that the WTS teaches.

Can you tell me any religious faith that doesn't teach exactly the same qualities as you listed? There may be some but I can't think of any immediately.

It is the harmful, destructive teaching of the WTS that sets them apart.

They delight in splitting family members, they delight in breaking social relationships, they delight in discouraging education.

They will not contribute to any effort to help their fellow man, unless that person is a JW.

It is a religion devoid of Love. Think about it. How do the window washers in your congregation's commitee handle a young bloke that was seen having a ciggie. A quiet encouraging chat on the side or do they bring Jehovah's wrath down upon him.

Have a look at some of the pics taken by the Hubble telescope. Tell me, do you really think that the Creator of this incredible universe would be full of rage if young Brother Billy experimented with a cigarette?

Sorry.........I am getting carried away. You silly apologists.

Anyway, when the Jan 15 Watchtower comes out it will make viewing this apostate site a disfellowshipping offence.
