would the married prefer to be single and the single married or are they happy as they are?
i am single and prefer to be married given the right conditions.

Yeah Frog..I've sat through a few big cyclones in my time but many years ago. We haven't had decent cyclones for years. This is the biggest in 30 years. My mate John has a 24,000 acre cattle property at Richmond. He needs these cyclones to get inland rain. It's an ill wind.....etc.

Unclebruce...On the news tonight they had a pic of that very same hatch. They said that his was the first thing to blow off a house. Once it blew off the whole house exploded. Authorities are trying to trace the manufacturer. They want to put him in a jail cell with a bunch of really big blokes who will call him "Momma".

In my JW family, my two older brothers have a few university degrees and a PhD between them. One is a self-made multi-millionaire. Nearly all of my JW nephews and nieces are in top-paying professions. And I can't pick up on any hypocritical behaviour amongst them.
Half of my JW nephews and nieces have left the org but maybe the half that remain will help make a difference in their own community. Show the young ones that's okay to be ambitious.
I just finished watching 4 Corners on Ice/Crack. I am so grateful that none of my 22 nephews & nieces are druggies. I'll thank the WTS for that.

Much of the beautiful rainforest in FNQ (Far North Queensland - pronounced "effen Q" has been stripped bare. It's described as though a bush fire has gone through it. The damage to the bird life and other fauna is too tragic to contemplate.

No probs for Wombat. That cyclone was a category 5 - same as Katrina. Poor Innisfail (pop 10,000) copped it bad. Over half of homes badly damaged, roofs flying everywhere. 300 kph (180 mph) winds.
Australia just lost 90% of it's banana crop and about a half of it's sugar crop. Rainforests have been stripped of leaves, wild-life devastated.
The bad news is that another cyclone is forming and could come in the same way.

Clam...Re living in the Last Days.... Yeah I was congratulated for renting rather than buying a house by someone close to me who has since made millions thru property. D/Ad in 73 and comforted my sobbing wife as she folded her babies winter clothes "for the last time".

i love this site but, for an australian, it's pretty boring until the yanks wake up..not knocking you poms...i just replied to clam who always keeps things going.. so by the time that our american friends get out of bed i am out of it and miss out on the fun.. because i have nothing intelligent to say, i will make the following pointless comments.. Clam...Yeah Easy Beats....Stevie Wright...."Friday on my Mind". They were big in the UK too.
They were an Australian band but they were all born overseas. They met in an immigration camp and became Australian pop icons. The majority of Australian have grand-parents who were born overseas. It makes this place really interesting.
