  hi all, my daughter in law is in the hospital now, they gave her an epidural, and they figure the baby will be born today at 6pm...yahoo, i am so happy!

  Should I start posting dating tips?

  many of us came out of the jws with very little dating experience under our belts (married or not), and a lot of us were very lost when it came to the opposite sex.

  the wts didn't help us learn how to pick a woman, how to court her, or even how to have sex with her.

  there's a lot of horror stories about first jw sexual encounters, and a lot of horror stories about dating after leaving the org.. i made it a goal to catch up on my dating experience after i deprogrammed myself, and i learned a lot about the competitive and tricky dating world.

  If you post, make sure u tell us who your targets were (under 30 gals at bars?). I've seen some of your advice, and it wouldn't work on me at my advanced age of 40-something.
  
  Post away. But don't be surprised if the women here rip your advice to shreds. I'll be watching this with interest.

  just a little breaking news:.

  after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

  last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

  What can you do when being the boss means working harder just to supervise?

  why would someone want a position such as this?

  i mean at some point the boss must work harder than the slaves to supervise them...then becomes a slave himself.. .

  what is the incentive to work and learn ones way to the top..if it means more work, responsibility, and headaches?.

  Hi Dragon,
  I asked the same question as you - is it worth it to be a manager? Your success is dependent on those who work for you. If you have an experienced and motivated staff, the job may be ok. If you don't, the job would be difficult, if not impossible.
  
  To me, it's only worth it a person has a good chance to move up the corporate ladder and/or there's a LOT more money involved. At my company, the job comes with at most a 10% raise (only 6% after taxes). I decided the job wasn't worth the headache, and I'm very happy staying in an individual contributor role.
