Another Wensleydale cranberry cheese fan here. I like to pick up a different cheese each time I go to a Whole Foods Market. I also like Neal's cheeses as well.
I like trying different foods and different recipes - it adds some spice to life.

Does looks matter much to you?
by JH inwhat importance do you place in the looks of a friend, or lover?.
does the interior stand out more than the exterior shell which is skin deep?.

I have to be physically attracted to a lover. I've found that if a man has a good personality, he becomes even more attractive. There have been few men I would reject because of appearance, though I have to admit jacked-up teeth are a turnoff and poor personal hygiene is a deal breaker.

I've rejected *WAY* more men because of personality, character or lack of intelligence.

Looks don't matter for friends, but they have to be good people. -

Feeling a little sorry for ourselves...
by exwitless inlittle drummer boy and i have struggled our entire married lives in just about every way: financially, emotionally, religiously, you name it.
it's like nothing ever comes easy for us.
just when one sorta good thing happens, something a whole lot worse happens and ruins our optimism.

HI ex,
I'm a single parent with a full time job and sole responsibility for a kid, house, yard and car. I know about ruts, routine and exhaustion. One of the things I did early on was to take a hard look at the tasks I performed at home in an effort to simplify my life. I decided I was overdoing the housecleaning, so I stopped doing some things. Other things I did less frequently. I also did that with my errands - because they were consuming large parts of the day. I also got extremely organized. Doing these things freed up time so that I could just stare at the wall if I wanted, or take my daughter to a park and spend an hour swinging.
I also started giving my daughter chores when she was 3. I added one or two every year. By the time she was 12, she was cleaning the house and doing laundry (receiving an allowance). From what I observe, many parents don't expect much of their kids in that department. The kids won't do as a good of a job as an adult, but really, it doesn't matter for most chores.
Your sacrifices will pay off shortly. Just keep chugging away, a day at a time and look for opportunities to simplify your life and take a break from the routine. Hopefully since your husband finished school, a better paying job is possible, giving you some financial relief. -

Assuming other important qualities are present, flattery will get a man everywhere. ;-)
People may not remember what you say, but they remember how you make them feel. That's applicable to both sexes. -

MY OBSERVATIONS FROM THE MEMORIAL TONIGHT (just got home)
by Mary inwell, as per usual, the memorial talk bored the hell out of me, but i found it, in one way to be an improvement over last years when they had the most boring speaker on the planet there http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/111544/1.ashx this guy at least knew how to speak.
unfortunately, he didn't have much of a script to work with.. there was the mention of adam sinning and mankind needing a redeemer etc., no mention of when the israelites left egypt though.
that's probably the first year i've ever seen where this hasn't been mentioned.

I went and there was a Bethel speaker who wasn't awful. It seemed to be a pretty standard Memorial talk, except there was less emphasis on how only the 144K should partake. He did talk about how the Memorial should only be celebrated once a year and then told of early dissension among congregations in the 1st/2nd centuries, indicating that congs in Asia Minor were excommunicated by the Bishop? in Rome for celebrating on Nissan 14. I hadn't heard that before. Overall, I felt emotionally flat. No annoyance but no joy or appreciation as in past years.
