What bothers/worries you most about the war ?
by m0nk3y inthere seems to be quite a few concerned people out the regarding this war in iraq and for good reason.
so what exaclty is bothering you about it, does it involve the very real fact that alot of innocent blood could/will be shed ?
are you fearing this could all be a part of bible/wts prophecy ?

The UN was playing Saddam's appeasement game. Even Hans Blix said that Saddam has no credability. Saddam was saying that he had no chemical weapons, now we find out that he is planning to use them against our troops? What were the inspections accomplishing? Saddam wasn't cooperating, was never going to cooperate and the UN gave in to him every time like bad parents with a disobediant child. So called 'success' was measured by how saddam could push out a few weapons in front of the inspectors that he formerly claimed not to have and that he had a lot more of that he wasn't telling the UN. He would have played this game perpetually until he had the time to develop even worse weapons and the US was forced to send its troops home.

Bush just wants the oil!!!
by dubla ini posted this on another thread, but i thought a new thread might help get the ball rolling: .
i have a simple question for all those that believe this war is solely about oil: .
what exactly do you believe bush is going to do with the oil fields after the war?.

Basically the 'real' reason for the war is anything but what Bush says it is. Opposition or the formulation of these 'conspiracy theories' is simply a political agenda of the left to discredit and oppose their political enemies. The left has abject hatred for conservatives and they are showing their true colors on a daily basis.

Confusion about support for forces and support for war
by Simon inthe government here is claiming that support for the war is growing and encouraging people to 'get behind our forces'.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/2863055.stm.
i think they are taking advantage of the fact that people will naturally support "our forces" to make out that people are then supporting the governments actions.
to put it another way, just because people oppose the war does not mean that they want "our forces" to lose.

Saddam will be given 48 hours to get out
by freedom96 inpresident bush will appear on tv tonight, and give saddam one last chance.
he can save his country from war, and also save his life, if he leaves iraq.. he will be given 48 hours, or suffer the consequences.
if he really cares for his family, his people, his life, he will leave.

Kimberly Caldwell is SOOO hot! But I agree last night was not her best performance. Probably the best singers are Ruben, Clay and Trenyce.

George Bush's excuse is good enough for me !
by searchfothetruth ini am really excited by george bush's latest reason for bombing iraq: he's running out of patience.
for some time now i've been really pi##ed off with mr johnson, who lives a couple of doors down the street.
well, him and mr patel, who runs the health food shop.they both give me queer looks, and i'm sure mr johnson is planning something nasty for me, but so far i haven't been able to discover what.. i've been round to his place a few times to see what he's up to, but he's got everything well hidden.

Well no plan but a general, "you know, uh, diplomacy, we need more diplomacy and we should uh, work with the UN, thats it and uh, we need more inspections and then I can go back to my latte and vegan bagels and protest something else, like free trade, man"

Sorry, couldn't bring myself to try to read your post, but when are JW's taught not to feel a sense of urgency? If a frog looks at them funny the end is coming soon.
