  Had Lunch with Prisca.

  i'm feeling really good today.. i had lunch with prisca yesterday, it was really great.

  we talked about the reasons we both left the borg, it was really great to talk to someone face to face about everything.

  the best thing is she only lives 10 minutes away from me, how great is that.. she moved to melbourne about 12 months ago.

  the recent superstition thread got me to thinking.

  growing up i was terrified of "demons".

  sometimes when we would have witness gatherings they would start in to "demon" stories.

  when i was a child i was terrified of the dark. The reason was because i thought that the demons would mess with me because i was alone and it was dark. i kept preparing for something to go flying accross the room or objects to start moving. my mom had an unbelieving husband at first and later on was a single mom, so the group she hung out with at the hall were those "spiritually weak" ones who also seemed to be middle aged, single moms or just middle aged single women. theres a lot of "stories" that fly around in those groups and so I got fed a lot of that stuff. I always had this very deep belief in the demons almost moreso than my belief in god and yes, nightly i was terrified of them. I had to sleep with a hall light on or something until I was a preteen.

  my sister...... is a psycho!!!!.

  she's "in feild service" sending out letters to people that didn't answer at the door.

  (which is already a little too much) she dressed up in her meeting cloths, head to foot, in order to be presentable while she is writing those letters.

  hi, i have been lurking at this site and a few other jw or xjw sites in search of some clarity but i am just getting more confused...

  my 15 year old daughter has been dating a 17 year old jw for about 2 1/2 months.

  he seems like a very nice kid--very shy (he is just starting to talk around me now...still not too much to my husband).

  okay, i dont even like soccer, just a bunch of guys running behind a stupid ball and one trying to stop that same ball.. but damn, the half-finals is a huge deal, and we made it this far.

  .... the last match was nerve wrecking .. we played 0-0 and then the penalties came,.

  so tonight we play against portugal .......... *inhale* its starting .... oh the exitement ...... .
