by Champion injust wanted to let you know my son who is 17, is performing again at the bitter end in the village.
he sent them his www.myspace.com/nicholasjamesconforti , and they asked him to play in oct. they liked him and asked him back for a 30 minute set november 30th(sunday) at 7:30. if your around and interested in music stop by.
it's only $5 bucks to get in.

I am very proud, and happy he is not raised a JW and not allowed to go after his dreams. He in the midst of applying to college and has a bright future ahead. What a difference from my life being one of four kids raised in the "truth". Thanks...Patricia

It was a great night for my son. He had about 25 friends show up. He did great and Larry who puts this show on asked him back to play for 30 minutes next time. I think he will play again in November and I'll let you know.. maybe will start the night with a ex-jw get together. Patricia

My Son Nicholas is playing for a songwriter session at the Bitter End in the Village tomorrow night at 7:00. He is 17 and sent his myspace and they called him two weeks ago. It is so exciting for him. Amazing for me because my mom was a singer and gave it up for the "truth" in the early 50"s. Life comes full circle. He will play piano and guitar and all original songs. They give them a 15 minute slot the first time. I have two brothers who live on Long Island one is still a witless, and of course he can't make it(loser). Of course he could make it last week to some Jobo get together, bit not to his nephews gig.Anyway just wanted to share we you guys, and of course if anyone is down in the viallage come check him out there will be about 25 of us there. A rant about my JW ELDER(and elder) dad
by Champion insorry, just a rant... so i am speaking with my dad last night and all i want to do is bring up the best week ever ...jehovah's witnesses are still ridiculous bit, but i hold my tongue because what's the point he's old.
then he begins to tell me about some problems he is having with his leg circulation etc.
so he goes to this chiropractor and he tells him to take some vitamins so he decided to call his jw friend who sells shaklee and order through him.

Thanks all for responding..You are so right about JW's being afraid of everyone, meanwhile the least educated of all people they try and get advice from, bazar!! Mary..He had a quadruple bypass 10 years ago and they take the veins from your legs. So basically there is nothing that can really be done. Maybe some exercise and massage could help. Because he has nothing except JW bull$hit going on his only extra activities are going to doctors(and trying to witness to them). So this is just the new thing.
