  i'll occasionally "stalk" my former watchtower friends on facebook.

  i find a lot leave their walls and photos public and it's kind of fun to see how they look and what's going on.. i found this post today: "imagine how whitney will sound when she's perfect.".

  i literally wanted to gag.

  How wonderful that Whitney Houston died in a personal tragedy because otherwise God would have killed her any day now at Armageddon! How "happifying" it is that this woman is dead so we can listen to her voice in Paradise and maybe she can even help us clean up the corpses after she is resurrected.

  The post is overtly full of apostate invective that would shock dubs. Dubs are skilled at euphemism to put their true meaning in the shadows.

  It would go like this; It is sad that Whitney died so soon but how happy we can be that her ressurection will be in to a paradise earth. We can enjoy her beautiful voice in the new system and she can work beside us in the clean-up after Armageddon.

  That should sanitise things.

  Donating blood

  our daughter's school is having a blood drive today and me and mrs. babycheezits thought about signing up.

  it's been on my bucket list i just haven't done it yet.. .

  just curious if many members of jwn have donated?.

  BTW, my wife donates regularly. I'm terrified of needles and happily accept that I may have to die horribly for being so cowardly.

  The irony has been pointed out here before; Dubs will accept a whole raft of blood fractions if required medically. They will not, however, donate blood for that purpose. They rely on non - Witness donors to supply the blood from which these fractions are made.

  have been doing some enlightening reading today about what the psychological community dubs as "foreclosed identities.

  " this is where you never reach the identity creation phase due to another's (usually your parents) beliefs being forcefully imposed upon you.. this is a very interesting article from a psychologist's point of view.

  his example is a highly religious person.

  One could say, broadly speaking, that this phase is never fully reached by anyone. We are all products of our upbringing and our world view will forever be coloured by our life experience.

  And I couldn't say that having beliefs 'forcefully imposed' on you by your parents is necessarily bad. Many of these things will keep you healthy, happy and alive.

  early reports say that as many as 27 jws died in a bus crash in ecuador while on their way to a meeting a couple of weeks ago.

  british passport

  hi everyone.. i just applied for the renewal of my british passport.

  it really costs a fortune to have it done.. i had to have new photos taken too.

  the pictures has to be to the according requirements.. now they ve send me an email, saying that my head was too close to the camera.

  "... my head was too close to the camera" - Fix this by moving your head farther from the camera.

  But, seriously, if the shots were taken professionally or at a chemist, you should have them redone to spec. for free.

  c.t russell was, they admit 90% wrong.. ditto for rutherford.. ditto for a lot in the intervening years, wrong and wrong again, so the need for "new light".. what makes them think that the 2012 version is any more right than the previous tripe ?.

  how can they know it won't all be dross tomorrow ?.

  If gut feeling is all you need, why bother researching anything ?

  If you're already emotionally invested in the religion, then to risk finding out anything you don't like must be terrifying.

  Think about it. Lucy wasn't really interested in CB other than to torment him for her own amusement. CB remained a nice kid.

  Lucy really wanted Schroeder. He was out of her reach with his 'stupid' piano. He was more exciting and she couldn't have him.

  Anyway, Schroeder gave classical piano away and bought a Moog synthesizer and travelled around doing pop covers at weddings.
