  you have no way of gauging my hatred for the elder class. and i don't want you destroyed, i just won't miss you when you are gone.

  as far as jesus' forgiveness is concerned...that is between you and him. but some of you(not uninformed specifically) are in for a nasty suprise. it is a mean world isn't it? how does it feel to be on the recieving end for a change? i have no way to judge the amount or degree you or any other individual is repentant, so your proclamation of repentance doesn't mean anything to me. how many judicial commitees did you sit on where people were punished after they expressed repentance? if you say none you are a liar, if you say a lot but i have repented and i am sorry now; so what. how does your repentance help those you injured? are the families you destroyed back together? are the people who were molested and then abused by the boe healthy and happy because you have repented. do they get their childhood back? one of the reasons the nazis are still hated is that the people they tortured and murdered are still dead.

  we have all heard the imperfect men defense. if that is what helps you sleep at night, so be it. but i'm not buying it and if that is mean and unforgiving i don't care. i didn't start out mean and unforgiving. i was taught to be mean and unforgiving by the elders and their hanger ons.

  as far as i'm concerned your statement that "we acted in stupidity, and in a false sense of the reality, but we did so mistakenly." ranks right up there with "i was only following orders."

  there is so much garbage in this thread it is hard to know where to begin. a good place to start is to point out that this man is not an exjw. he is an ex overlord. he is still a jehovah's witness and i have not seen one thing that says he wants it to be any different.

  the hypocrisy of the exelders on this board is the same as when they weren't exs. and you still don't understand why the r&f hate you. "we were all kind and compassionate when we were the borg's hired guns. blah, blah, blah." bullshit!!! we didn't believe you then and we don't believe you now!

  your statement about dickhead elders on this forum is pure fantasy, religious belief or not. they are here, but just like the borg if you call them on being a dickhead all you get are threats and attempts at intimidation. it really is a sick world ya'll live in.

  i imagine you got a thunderous round of applause everytime you said this from the platform. what you didn't know, and wouldn't have cared about, is that there were a lot of people who were thinking--- "stupid twit. that's because for 50 years all you heard was your own voice repeating memorized scripture." you have to listen to an arguement before deciding on its validity. you weren't taught that were you?

  as for your attempt to lay a guilt trip on those who don't feel empathy for this "...pitiful former district overseer..." you can take it and stick it where the sun don't shine. stupid doesn't live here anymore.

  i cant stop thinking too much

  i seriously cant stop thinking into things too much, does anyone know any good ways to stop over thinking?

  i just want to let myself go with what i want to do, not with what i think i should do, (this is all probably because of the way im used to thinking in the old days), is there a way you can stop yourself from thinking a way you dont want too?

  this probly makes no sense to anyone but i cant exspain it any better.

  when i was studying, the person i was studying with told me that i was thinking too much. my wife told me that i was worrying too much. the problem was i was worried about what i was thinking. i can't help thinking too much. and i accept that.

  oh boohoo. if this guy was still a co/do and i was being counsuled by him and told him this sad tale about myself and my "secular" employment, he would tell me the solutions to "my" problems are 5 meetings a week and as much field service as i could take. he got his glory by spending his life as an overlord overseer. life happens to us all and i'm glad he has to spend some time in my world. i think they all should. i know people who have spent 40 years in the borg and noone has ever bought them a tank of gas, much less a car.

  just because he has gotten too old to continue doing the damage he has done for 40 years i'm supposed to feel sorry for him? because the corperation he spent 40 years screwing others for, screwed him? that is silly.

  instead of saying brother or sister x, maybe you had a nick name more appropriate for them.. a brother in my congregation, just for fun, used to call me brother bottle (frere bouteille) or sometimes brother poutine.....(frere poutine) .

  we had a co named charland, and i called him brother charlatan .

  charlatan / sa1lata~ / nom masculin (guerisseur) quack[!

  just another failed prophet with a pissy attitude. perhaps it is , once again, time for him to quit this board forever and ever take a short vacation. i thought it was interesting that he quit posting a few weeks before his prediction and didn't return for 3 or 4 months afterwards. it must be really upsetting to see this come back to haunt him after all these years. proplog, thanks to post histories, we all have a more or less permanent record at jwd. thanks to simon for this. i just had another thought about this post history thing...with some people you can see their growth, or whatever you want to call it, and with others, after years and thousands of posts, it is the same old same old.

  "check her post history" why? the problem with that is #1 she wasn't posting on this forum. how would those on the other forum "check her post history"? and #2 if someone did "check her post history" they would find out that she is not a teenager as she tried to give the impression, nor is she a "young adult" as she claimed when asked a direct question about her age. and #3 finally that the reason the statute of limitations had run out was because her abuse occured more than 25 years ago which of course would cast doubt on her age. the problem with telling a lie (i am a teenager) to support a legitimate complaint (i was molested) are the lies you have to tell (i am a young adult) in order to support the first lie. i truly don't believe that cbd wanted anyone on that other forum to "check her post history"

  Hate at site of convention goers!

  so im eating dinner with my hubby and kids at a local family restaurant, when in walks some people with name tags of some sort, i cant read them, im sitting to far away, but they have the look of the convention name tags.

  well i guess i can spot a jw right off, because sure enough as i got closer, there it was a flash back from the past.

  the same ol name tags.
