MissBehave: I had also forgotten about the written review until Merfi brought it up in her post. I vaguely recall that there was music played in the background. Wait...let me clarify...not really music but kingdumb melodies. I usually flunked the written review -- I seem to remember there were a couple of questions for kids??? I got those wrong, too! I'm such a theocratic dumba**.

Reading WT & Awake for X years = College Education
by under_believer inhas anybody ever heard any witnesses utter that old saying "reading the magazines for 10 years [or whatever] is equivalent to getting a college education?
" a couple of things are amusing about this.
one is its utter and complete falsehood--what a crock!

What are you doing Memorial Day weekend?
by juni inhopefully it will be a beautiful weekend.
we always get together with our entire family (kids and grandkids) for an all day picnic and fun and then watch the small town parades.
and then this weekend we will be playing "catch-up" with outdoor projects on the house that we couldn't get to because of the rain.

joining the fun late...I remember a paper I wrote in the 9th grade --don't remember the topic but throughout I wrote things like, "recent studies show..blah blah blah." or "a recent report concluded that..blah blah blah." My paper was given a low grade and was red-inked with comments like, "what report?" "what study?" "where did you find these references and why aren't you providing credible information?!?" I was completely embarrassed. That was an eye-opener to me as to the lack of credibility contained in the dub publications.

Perhaps the marketing people in Brooklyn should start a new campaign -- instead of free bible study they could advertise FREE College Education!!

I'll be laying on a beach in Kona, Hawaii -- sans child. Just me and one of my closest girlfriends soaking up the sun for a few days.

Have I changed?
by I-follow-the-narrow-path inyesterday my ex-boyfriend came into town, several months ago who moved away and we had to break off our relationship.
the relationship was rocky; however, before he was going to move, so it was easy to let him go.
we reconciled as he was away and we are good friends.

Yep, I've heard this many times....mainly uttered by people who have never set foot in a college or university. If only my college text books had been written for a 3rd to 4th grade reading level...things would have been so much easier. lol. I guess the dubs think that college consists of coursework about stuff like "the amazing life of the aardvark" or "young people ask: can I list college education on my resume since I've been reading the WT and Awake for the past ten years?"

I checked Amazon and found this musical masterpiece listed there....here are the two reviews from people who purchased the album:

I just can't say enough about this CD. Thank you so much for providing me with GOOD music for me and my children. I really appreciate the extra help in raising my kids in this system. The songs and lyrics are so catchy, we sing them over and over again in the car and wherever we are! The world has so little to offer that is not objectionable in some way - this CD is true to the Bible and society's publications. Thank you SO MUCH!Reviewer: Doris S - See all my reviews

What a great CD! My kids, my wife and I all LOVE the wide variety and Biblical themes. It's just what we need to help our kids grow up faithful to Jehovah in this world with all its pressures. Thanks a million!Reviewer: Stan the Man - See all my reviews -

REPOST: For mothers who have lost a child
by Lady Lee inon mother's day we often forget those who are mother's but never had the chance to hold their child.
some because they chose to give their child up for adoption.
others because of miscarriage or stillbirth.
