Rev talks about 2 resurrections.
However my questionw as:
during the 1000 yr reign, can there be reproduction?
could the following scenario be an answer to how all those accepting the mark of the beast are destroyed at armageddon, while thos ehwo refuse the mark were previously martyred?.
after the first resurrection, those who were martyred are reunited with their physical bodies.
so can't they be returned to earth and reproduce?

Hi,
Could the following scenario be an answer to how ALL those accepting the mark of the beast are destroyed at Armageddon, while thos ehwo refuse the mark were previously martyred?
After the first resurrection, those who were martyred are reunited with their physical bodies. So can't they be returned to earth and reproduce? Thus, Satan will try to mislead their offspring, and may get some.....

Hi Laoliaia
THanks for your detailed post regarding the GC and 144000. It cleared up ALOT!
I have two nagging questions below...please reply either here or directly to me at [email protected]
Thanks much
Those who are raised in the "first resurrection" are "the souls of all who had been beheaded for having witnessed for Jesus ... those who refused to worship the Beast or his statue and would not have the brand-mark on their foreheads or hands" (20:4). The resurrected are all those who died in the "great tribulation", and those martyred beforehand (cf. ch. 6), and they all had refused the Beast's mark. According to 13:15-17, all those who refused to worship the Beast or refused the Beast's mark was "put to death". This does not leave any group still living by the time of the "first resurrection" since everyone who rejected the Beast's mark was killed off by the Beast and everyone who accepted it was executed by God and his angels (14:9-11).
Who does the Devil try to mislead after the 1000 yrs if no one is left?
And this makes sense because people who haven't died are not resurrected and only those in the "first resurrection" are those who reign with Christ and serve as priests of God. So those in the "first resurrection" do not constitute a "third group", they are the same people as those who were martyred by the Beast. The second group, those who bore the "mark of the Beast" (and "the rest of the dead") are raised in the "second resurrection" (20:5, 11-15).
Who are the rest of the dead?
There are 2 battles? What humans are left for the 2nd battle if all who accepted the mark are killed in the first?

Hi,

7 Now as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Ma´gog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea.
i have quoted below from the new world mistranslation rev 20:7-13. i have some questions i need help on i have put below the verses.

Who will be left on the earth? Is this ONLY those who have accepted the mark of the Beast?
9 And they advanced over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them. 10 And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne and the one seated on it. From before him the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha´des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.
In verses 12 and 13, who are these resurrected? Are these ONLY the ones who accepted the mark of the Beast? Or are they ALL those in history who are unasaved? How can they be saved people if the saved are covered by the rature and the 1st resurrection?
Please help.
the best way for me to ask my question is to start out with a skit:.
jw: i agree that jesus is speaking of his body in john 2:19 when he calls it a temple (naos).
however, when the jews say that the temple was 46 years in the building, they use the word naos and are not refering to jesus body.
Hi,
My question is this- How do I answer a JW who says "The word naos in John 2:20 refers to the entire temple. I agree verse 19 is jesus talking about his body BUT in verse 20 the Jews said ' “This temple (naos) was built in forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days?' The Jews are hear talking of the literal earthly temple, thus naos here means entire temple. So, naos in Rev 7:15 does not have to mean inner sanctuary, or heaven. It can mean an outer portion of the temple, thus meaning earth."
How do I answer this argument regarding naos in Rev 7:15 meaning an outer portion of the temple when the JW tries to say it means the entire temple in John 2:20? I have copied and pasted below John 2:18-21 from the NWT for reference.
18 Therefore, in answer, the Jews said to him: “What sign have you to show us, since you are doing these things?” 19 In answer Jesus said to them: “Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 Therefore the Jews said: “This temple was built in forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 But he was talking about the temple of his body.

Hi,
The best way for me to ask my question is to start out with a skit:
JW: I agree that Jesus is speaking of his body in John 2:19 when he calls it a temple (naos). However, when the Jews say that the temple was 46 years in the building, they use the word naos and ARE NOT REFERING TO JESUS BODY. THEY ARE REFERRING TO THE LITERAL ENTIRE TEMPLE. Thus, naos does not have to mean only the inner sanctuary it can mean the enitre temple or even an outer courtyard
How do I answer this?
