Does anyone get frustrated by the speculations of Weather Forecasters?

for example yesterday here was the official forecast at 11am.

1057 am cst sat dec 22 2007 ...winter storm warning remains in effect until 6 am cst sunday... a winter storm warning remains in effect until 6 am cst sunday.

snow will increase across the warned area this afternoon from southwest to northeast.

SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE WARNED AREA THIS AFTERNOON FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST. EXPECT THE SNOW TO BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES BY MID AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING.

Actual result - nothing. Storm over. Just a lot of wind.

I'm starting to keep track of their speculations versus what actually occurs. (I refuse to call them forecasts any more) It drives me nuts when they say there's say a 60% chance of something happening. What in the world does that mean and how do they arrive at it? And if there's a 60% chance of something happening, they never tell you about the other 40% chance of something else happening.

because witnesses are less into christ than they are into moses.

when christ talks about turning the other cheek, witnesses talk about why the faithful should shun anyone that doesn't see eye to eye with them.

the jewish religious leaders were condemned by christ for their biases.. why do jehovah's witnesses treat disfellowshipped ones as if they were "dead"?

It would seem like jw's are under the same double condemnation as Jews, and Catholics for that matter, as they are in just as much darkness, adopt so much Hebrew tradition as they disregard Jesus and the ransom. Has anyone who's been the victim of a jc ever been told how the ransom might apply, either in the case of what they've been accused of or in the df'g or reinstatement process? Of course not. The borg has denied Christ. Thus the Jews, jw's and Catholics are still under the curse of the law that was added to the Abrahamic covenant to make sin manifest but that Christ removed by his sacrifice, but that did not invalidate the the previous covenant. Gal 3:17-25 And we might as well add the Muslims to the list as they also deny the Ransom and have their own perversions of the Law that explains their savage form of justice for which there is no basis for forgiveness, just never ending eye for an eye retribution. Take away their oil and they'll go back to picking dates and fighting amongst themselves.

i stopped going to kh when i was in my early 20's.

i'm now in my mid 40's.

i've done many of the things for which a person should be df'd over the many years since but i don't know whether i am df'd.

It's not that I'm thinking about going back, I just wonder what would happen if somebody did. They couldn't shun you because you haven't been df'd, unless you were df'd after you had da'd, which I was told occurred to a person I once knew, and that could open up legal issues. I bet that situation isn't handled in any of their rule books. Wouldn't that make a good "Questions From Readers" subject?

Makes me wonder what would happen if one walked into meeting and said they da'd some time ago but decided to start associating again.

as my time on line is limited i think iam best suited to replying to topics rather than begginning new topics.. has this board become to popular for many to be activly involved in it ?.

I wonder why this board is so popular. It's almost like it's a religion with undefined parameters or goals. Some are committed to the destruction of the Society. Others are healing. Others are just plain mad and don't know where else to vent. And still others that fit into other categories that only they can describe.

The Power of DA

i read with sadness the various travails of those who are in and want out but haven't, mostly for the sake of family, the unmitigated temerity to df the borg, and are just waiting for the inevitable kangaroo miscarriage of justice by a jc to pull your plug, and then consoling yourself with thinking that the hounders may have had a sleepless night or two once they'd done their dirty business.

of course you know that after a night or two they've deleted you from their hard drives, so the consolation is pretty much short-lived.

but it seems to me that to give, not only the hounders, but the whole circuit lingering and on-going second thoughts, that maybe they're the ones who are in the wrong and how many others there might be, is when they don't get a chance to hang some bum rap you, and you give them the pink slip.

If you walk straight out the door as you leave the platform it would be like when JFK was shot and disappeared into that tunnel. It was an existential and end of story.
