Yes when I am in the far north of Ontario, it stays light till about 11 pm in the summer and the sky is so clear and you can see the whole universe it seems. All the stars the northern lights, and hear the noises fo the wildlife around you (wolves) etc. that is spiritual to me and tells me there is creation.

one of the key things i have noticed since leaving the witnesses and interacting with other faiths, is that they often mention the word "miracle!

" in that they will claim that their god had performed some sort of miracle in their life that brought about something amazing.

it is not always christians who say this either, as many of my "pagan" friends and myself have had spirit driven moments that were something that could not be displaced as "chance.

It just goes to show you that JW's do not have a monopoly on God, as they believe they do..

i found this web site while researching jws (my immediate family on my dad's side is jw, except for my dad, who was subjected to the programming from birth, and who seems to be caught in some strange world between the jw world and the real one).. for the most part, these are decent, kind, loving people.

the only problem is that they are jws!.

i myself am atheist, so in theory i should them to be atheist also, but i'd gladly settle for steering them into a different form of christianity.. anything but jw.

Bethelite at hall dedication, system may not last until "Deliverance Conv."

through various contacts, i heard this was said by a good bethelite at a local hall dedication.

(i won't quote what was said... i don't want to give away my source.).

plans are being made to attend the deliverance convention in july.

As a kid I used to lie in bed thinking the end was just around the corner and had trouble sleeping, mostly because I was a bad boy and thought I was going to die soon. This summer I will be 68 years old and no end yet. I no longer lie awake and worry about it. The borg does not have a clue.
