He did! He himself is truth. As he is God, and God defines reality, so you can say that God is source of this reality, he tells what is truth. Or better... what he says is truth. His words creates reality. By his Word (which is Jesus) world was created. So God spoke truth and it became. Reality! Reality is truth as only Reality is full reflection of reality

This is other case. Imagine man who goes from 21 century to 11 century and says that things can fly. You can choose to believe it or you can choose to burn him alive. Truth does not changes wether you can test it or not. But if the man demonstrates tremendous powers over disases, hunger, nature... then I tend to believe that things which I can't test still holds true if he says so. Christ didn't just spoke empty words, he demonstradet that he has power to say so. More... with his ressurection God put his approval on Christ and disaprooval on men's judgement and interpretation about truth. Ressurection is most strong claim of truth from Jesus Christ. So ressurection is corner stone of christianty, make it go away and christianity goes along with it.

I agree. God's reflective laws are everywhere... one who is honest to himself will find God's Word - that is Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ will tell you, that it's ok that you make mistakes, he can fix them and forgive you and take you into his protection. Only thing changes is - your attitude to God, and everything else just happens... without enforcement.

This is way it is so important to get to know Jesus Christ personally. When you know truth (Jesus Christ) it is eazy to distinguish lies. Bank workers does not learn to recognize false money, they are trained to recognize true money.

This is one and only law of Jesus Christ - "Love". As one saint churhc father sayed (don't remember which one) "Love and then you can do whatever you like"! It is not possible to LOVE and still reject God. To love is to know God. Everyone who loves and who knows what love is recognizes it in Jesus Christ, he is perfect example of what it means to love till end. We love coz God first loved. You ar right... all the Christianity is all about love and faith in the love. If it is not love and faith in love, then it is not Christianity.
And we have power to love coz God loved us so much so he gave his Son for us to live forever. That is love... to die for you own creatures. There is no more love then one when one gives his life for another. Actually I allways cry when I see some news when ppl are saved from fire, quakes, disasses... and I see that this love still resides in this terrible life. Know Love and you will know truth!

jwfacts you do common mistake mixing truth with interpretation of truth. Truths is reflection of reality and while reality does not change truth does not change. Metal boxes could fly in middle ages too, laws allowing plain to fly was there from the very begining of this world. Earth allways was round even when ppl was telling it is flat.
As I told - test for truth is - try to ignore it in long term.

after the waters had receeded.

after it had stopped raining for months.... yet a rainbow is simply sunlight spread out into its spectrum of colors and diverted to the eye of the observer by water droplets.

Nark, I was speaking about different conditions BEFORE Flood. And why it is so hard to believe, that conditions was such as rainbow was not able to form. Or if it could, then it never was connected to some promise from God! And who sayed that parameters of the world can't be changed by it's creator?

Well condition before flood definetly was different. When ppl could live meny hundred years. Who knows how long could lizards live. Nobody actyally does not know limit of size of lizard if it could frow for very long period. Seems like lizard size is proportional to it's age. So... yes, actually conditions befor flood was very good for growth and reproduction for both - fauna, flora, humans.

JWfact. I believe that there IS absolute truth. And I belive that humans can know truth. I doubt that humans are able to know ALL the truth. For example I believe that this table has 4 legs is absolute truth. Truth is reflection of reality. So as we are part of reality ourselves then it is very logical, that we can know something about absolut truth. Our mind is part of the reality, and mind is only known perception orghan which can grasp the truth.
And here comes one truth about reality. If you ignore illusion there will no be bad consequences, but if you ignore truth, you can end very badly. Only exception to the first part of this rule is that only humans are able to create consequences for illusions, thus creating illusion of reality. This is how JW middleage Chatolics and all other ideologies act. They create consequences for illusions. For truth there allways will be consequences if you ignore it in long term. So this is may way how to distinguish truth from illusion. Try to model it's ignorance and see how consequences comes. It is interesting experimentation with reality. People speak about realtive truth, but they allways looks left and right when cross the street, coz they know that reality does not care about your truth, you should care about realitie's truth. And I believe that beyond phisical world there is spriritual world and as gravity is very real in phisical world I believe moral laws are very real in spiritual world. Ignoring gravity leads to disaster, ignoring moral does the same. And airplanes are not ignorance of gravity, they just rely on other laws which can keep from falling even if you are heavy (sinner). So the same with spiritual world... there are means of saving you from falling even if you are not able to keep all the moral laws. The best test for reality and truth is - to ignore it, only bad thing is that at some cases you will not be able to tell about the truth to others as you will be dead :)

Is this claim absolute truth or relative truth?

And how do you know that Hitler and Chatolics were wrong... or you just judge them by your own relative truth which is why better then theirs? So common - is ther truth or there is no truth, in second case term "truth" actually is absurd and is not possible per se.

read up on anathasius of alexandria and found out how the bible was compiled.

Thank God, most of these postmodernists actually only TALK about "there is no truth". In reality those who dare to go to the final conclusion of this "truth" ends with their brains smashed on wall by themselves, so they do favor to human genome.
