It sounds like you already have made strong points to her by living your life and being happy.

My JW mom thinks I am happy. . . hmmm
by JWdaughter inok, i am talking to my mom tonite at a restraunt overlooking the water, and we are having fun, and i am griping about my husbands silliness (forget which one, there are many) and she says to me" are you happy?
" and as i am complaining about my husband, i feel kind of silly saying, yes, but i said, yes, i have a lot to look forward to, my kids are great, my (new book) business is going well, and i am really excited about the next few months-my whole future.
she tells me, you know your sister has more money, and success, her husband worships her(mine has no such idolatry issues!)etc.

How did you treat the kids of faders?
by Mysterious inif you were a jw as a kid how did you and the other youths treat the kids of those that were fading or inactive?.
i remember one remembrance day all the jw kids were in the library while the assembly was on and the kid of fader parents was there and i was asking the other kids in front of him what is he doing here implying he had no right to be around us.
then we started pressuring him to come to meetings even if his parents weren't and he kept making excuses saying he didn't have a suit that fit..etc.

I'm sure you feel bad about picking on him, but in reality, you probably did him a huge favor by showing him that the j-dubs is not a place for him to be.

How to leave Jehovah's Witnesses (fairly) painlessly...
by DubBeachBabe inposted this as a response on another thread, but i know there are people who want this as a new discussion.
i'm sure there are many good people watching these discussions who know you want to leave, but also know that this is what may await you - family alienation and pain.
if you haven't already overtly left, my advice to you is this: don't succumb to the disfellowshipping process.

I can smoke cigars or even have sex with a buffalo if I want,
So, do you smoke the cigars, before or after your 'time' with the buffalo?

As you're now working too, and coping with life changes, you have less time to attend meetings - perhaps you could use your busy lifestyle to fade.
Excellent. You've stated that you have a job as a waitress. I suggest that you request to work on 'meeting' nights. This will explain your absence from bookstudy and tm school.
Then you could attend sunday, once or twice a month. Do this for quite a few months, then slowly fade away. You could have your records transfered to your local kingdumb hall,
which will keep your mom and her elders off your back. Your mere presence at the new hall, once a month or so will be enough to tease the new elders till you completely fade away.

Maybe one of the elders would be willing to give you oral sex; you might ask them. Hopefully the elder won't expect him to return the 'favor'

Good idea cuz only Dubz are still on AOL!
Are there still a lot of dubs on AOL?
I was back in the late 90's, but then I got a DSL line and never touched dial up again.
On the other hand, even when I was on AOL, I really wasn't a dub, just a pretender.

how much is going to make the "straw that breaks the camel's back?"
That camel has already had many of it's vertebrae 'fused' together. I just can't see it lasting much longer.

Read my profile info and it'll give you an idea of my situation. As mentioned above, there are some here, such as sir82, that still serve as an elder yet don't believe for a second
that they have the truth. I give lots of credit and empathy to those that want out but are not in a position to make the leap as of yet.

Smokey Cat is back from the animal hospital
by Skimmer inmy cat smokey has recently returned from the animal hospital after about a week full of doubts that he would make it to see another day.
he is recovering from an infection, idiopathic weight loss, and some other problems.
smokey is finally starting to eat (just a little) and is using his litter box.

over the years I've spent thousands of dollars on my pets. Never regretted a single penny of it.
At the same time I wouldn't fault an owner for making the tough decision of letting their pet 'go'
I hope both you and your pet are sleeping well tonight.
