i get emails like this all the time.
some jw gets upset at the stuff on my site, and wanting to add more weight/shock value to what they say, they either mention in passing that they are "not one of jehovah's witnesses" or are a child.
this one claims to be a 13-yr old girl!
Why is it necessary for this person to add the info that she's a 13 yr old girl?(assuming she or he is actually 13)
When I send email correspondence, do I end my email with. 'from a 32 year old man'? Hell no,, that type of information is very unnecessary.
I could see a 13 yr old doing this, but even then it seems a bit odd. I think Randy is right.

vancouver/cknw - another legal loss for the jehovahs witness parents of sextuplets born in vancouver earlier this year.. the couple is taking the bc government to court over a decision to seize the children in order to perform blood transfusions, something doctors felt medically necessary, but forbidden by the family's religion.. the bc court of appeal has upheld an earlier decision, in which the court ruled lawyers for the parents could not cross examine doctors on affidavits explaining why they felt the transfusions were required.. when it goes to trial, the parents' lawyers will argue doctors ignored alternate treatments which would have negated the need for the babies to receive blood.

Who in their right mind would take legal action against someone or something for saving their child's life? Only the j-dubs! idiots.
i'm not talking about the stuff you hear at the kingdom hall, i'm talking about the "experiences" you were told of by people you knew.
the big one for me was demons.
so many people i know had experiences with them.
I was told a number of stories about demons, that people had got second hand books and things like that and when they woke in the morning they felt like there was a weight holdingthem down and they couldnt get up. Needless to say I prayed hard that the demons wouldn't come and get me.
J-dubs are such idiots. That feeling of not wanting to get up to go to work/school/preaching etc etc,, that weight that is holding a person down? It's called Depression. The j-dubs should try visiting a psychiatrist instead blaming their problems on demons. I've got a huge family of j-dubs. Many of which allegedly experienced every urban legend we've heard on JWD. Demon Smurfs causing doors to open and shut on their own(as told by my uncle) Demon book, blanket, lamp, etc bought from a garage sale, which causes spooky demon noises and now I can't sleep!(as told by my great aunt) Naked return visit man who planned on raping the unsuspecting j-dub who was then saved by two invisible angels.(courtesy of an elder/pioneer couple in northern minnesota) Lightning strikes apostate that is walking between two elders who are not harmed by the lightning.(courtesy of a hardcore j-dub friend I once had in Minneapolis) Angels save fat pioneer sister by helping her get into car really fast before the oncoming car impacts driver's door of the vehicle.(Courtesy of fat Pioneer sister's Son) Poor pioneer sister that needs 400 dollars for an unexpected car repair, coincidently receives a bonus check from employer for 400 dollars(courtesy of pioneer sister friend) I've heard them all from my family members and friends, many who are quite intelligent and it amazes me that they were duped by this cult.

I had to wait until my wife was out of site as she is a believing J-dub and I didn't want to give any more ammo for her and my family to use against me.
I made the conversation with them very brief for the above reason. I simply introduced myself, encouraged them to "keep up the good work and that I have my entire family trapped in this cult". They thanked me, and I then made my exit. The two apostates™ were in a well exposed area isolated from the j-dubs so I don't recall seeing any j-dubs react to my actions. Even if any of the j-dubs saw what I did,, very few of them knew me at this particular convention so I wasn't worried.

Here in the US it's very common to have apostates™ picketing the conventions. I recently attended in Long Beach, CA and there were two apostates™ there. I made it a point to introduce myself to them and give them some encouragement.

Though my current opinion is that Robert King is a bit of a nut-case, I have to admit that his website did help me to get my feet wet as well.
I originally viewed JWD back in about 2001. Later in 2005 I went to the e-watchman site. I never participated there, but I read every commentary he had. For me it was an easy step to take. Robert King disagrees with the WT, but wants everyone to remain a J-dub until Jehovah returns to 'cleanse' his organization of all the problems and mistakes that has occurred with in the WT corp. That kind of thinking can be comforting to the average j-dub. You get to acknowledge all the problems with 'jehovahs organization'™ and yet you can keep all the fuzzy feelings you get from believing you will live forever in a fantasy paradise earth.
It was the e-watchman site, that acted as a 'stepping stone' in bringing me back to JWD in Dec of 2005.
So in reality, I do think e-watchman does serve a purpose in the grander scheme of things.(at least for me it was helpful)
the practice of choosing biblical names for children is present in many forms of christianity.
in latin america, countless boys are named jesus either as a first name or second name.
there is even that singer jesus jones.

last week i called my insurance company to find out whether or not i can get a cheaper rate for my step-son who is 18. .
he had just recently purchased his first car, a 1988 chevy.
he turned in the title for the car at our local bmv.
It sounds like they're jerking you around. I'm not familiar with your state's insurance laws, but to me something doesn't sound right. What if he were 18 and without a driver's license?
Would they still attempt to insure him anyways? I would call up another insurance company and get a quote, one with your son on the policy, and one without. If they comply to your
request then you know your current insurance agency to jerking you around. If the new policy quote sounds good, then drop your old company and tell them exactly why.
about how many hours per day or night do you spend on this forum?
i spend about 2-3 hrs per night actively participating and browse throughout the day.. my boss allows me to do this because i 'm very good at multi-tasking.
