  One time I ate so many figs that I learned to hate them. I got the coliwobles and it wasn't funny! I thought twice about eating that many again. It was horrible, I just went ppppllllllllll!

  So tell me why don't JW's think about this one? It doesn't make any sense. If Jehovah is love, how can Jehovah condem someone to death for not being able to Follow witness tradition? It makes me nuts!

  JWs knock on my door three times in one week

  my husband is off work at the moment recovering from a double hernia operation.

  the jws knocked one day and our friend, who was here doing a bit of painting for us, answered the door and simply told them he wasn't the householder.. then at the weekend, early on a saturday morning, they knocked again.

  i was in my nightclothes and had only just gotten up, or i would have answered.

  Would Jehovah create something He could not control or convince?

  Its a shame the the Watchtower head people don't realize that when they don't let one of there people get a blood transfusion, The person may die and then they will have lost another puppet!

  i have been reading this forum for a couple of years now and i know this point has been made before but i truly think it needs to be repeated.

  i am not, nor ever was, a jw and only arrived here to acquaint myself with "jw-ism" because a friend had joined up.

  i needed to study up on stuff so i'd be prepared to (try to) understand where she was coming from with all her new oddball dogmas.

  My Mother joined at a low point in her life. She had been searching for religion and these people came along with all the answers. She started studying and it made sense to her. Then she became sucked in. She spent 40 years of her life in the cult and finally died last month. They need to shut the Watchtower down!

  Just curious as I had never really been a true Jehovah Witness. I would think that you make friends and suddenly you don't exist. I would think a board like this is a true Godsend. Just curious if you feel joy, sadness, relief. I think it would upset me to run into someone I knew at a store just to have them pretend we had never met. How sad............what do you think?
