Don't want to hurt your parents/famly's feelings huh?
by dawg ini've read where many of you have posted that you "don't want to hurt family members feelings" and that's the reason you don't come clean about how you feel as far as the jw's go.
i was wondering if it ever dawned on you who think like this how you still are being abused mentally by both this religion and your family by worrying about their feelings while they have total disregard for your thoughts and/or feelings?
i've never told a family member how they must think for me to talk to them; never hounded a family member to come to a meeting they have clearly shown they don't want to attend.

Sometimes its compassion. I pity the poor misguided souls. Sometimes I was hoping to help them get out, other times its just plain exhaustion. Finally when they came to me and said, "You need to go to the meeting or we won't speak to you any more." I totally lost it and told them just exactly what I thought and felt. Funny, I thought I'd be DF'd after that but have not heard a word from them.

I basicly have me My husband and two kids and my 2 sisters who are out. Thank god for them. I live over 1000kms from my sisters though so we only keep in touch via email and phone calls.
My dad I have not really had contact with since he was disfellowshipped and I told him Jehovah would be my father at 14 years old. Those wounds will never heal for him it seems.
Several of my witness family members have my space accounts and so I can see what they are doing etc. I just feel so cut off from everyone and sad, sad, sad.
Bleak.
I'm sorry guys, I just needed to let someone know. Now I feel like going out and getting shitfaced. lol

WHEW! What a ride!....Now zyprexa, cold turkey, and therapy....
by oompa inso going off all my meds proved one huge things to me....i thought i was just depressed....almost constantly...and not bi-polar....but after going off all meds.......life was good.....real good ....oh so incredibly flucking good....that it hit finally hit me....i really should not be feeling this good...so could i hardly needed any sleep or food!
everything was 20,000 times better than it should be......even my grilled salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli with lime was soooo good i let every bite linger for at least a minute!?!?
!....yeah weird.

Wow, congrats on noticing and doing something about it. Thats pretty cool. Hope your new pills work out. My sisters been on Lithium but it gives her severe acne, poor thing. Which gives her pretty low self esteem.
Good luck with the counceling. I think you're awesome getting out there and doing that and hoping your wife will join in. Good on you.
