  How Many are Single? How Many are Looking?

  i find myself finally becoming accustomed to the fact that i am single again.

  i am no longer thinking in couple terms and i now cook to please only me.

  it's fun and scary all at the same time.

  Well, now I'm officially "single" since I'm "divorced" and yes when I go to the various beaches I look.

  When I'm on the street I look.

  When I go to a club I look.

  Cafe? Yep. I look.

  Futbol game? Looking.

  Actually, it's rather difficult not to look.

  Imagine this: There is a huge tidal wave coming your way, it's unavoidable and unless you are blind it's impossible not to look at it.

  Now....imagine this tidal wave being of bikini clad women. Or just heck, just a girl with dark black hair and brown eyes in a business suit...who has full lips and a nice smile that....

  Sorry. Yes. Single & Looking. ( Now as to what I "want"? That's a personality question. )

  i've read some about the data protection act in britain, just exactly how does it affect the congregation structure?

  if no records can be kept on publishers it would sure put an end to the secret little files the bethel cia aka service department can keep.

  any experience with this and how can we get it started in the us?

  I find the site humorous. Being one that "didn't like it" and DID leave, hey....if they are willing to pay for people who wish to travel to a new adventure? Why not jump on it?

  It's not like the U.S. is the "end all, be all of all creation". In fact, no nation on this planet is. It's what you percieve to be "YOUR" home. I kinda like the fact that this entire planet is my home, my only regret is that I live in a period of time where humanity is unable to travel great distances to other worlds.

  At least there still SOME exploration left here on this blue marble.

  as attorney general john ashcroft began his tour of the country to promote an expansion of the patriot act, the american people are signing a petition demanding that ashcroft "stop compromising our freedoms; stop eroding our basic civil rights; stop trying to teach our neighbors to spy on each other, and american communities to mistrust each other.".

  Because their wonderful honest government who provides them with a false sense of security, and such a government could and would NEVER abuse the Patriot Act.

  That's a nice thread where defenders (and "right wingers") of such an act "chimed in". Read them responses. Visit those links that show "abuse". Newspaper articles and such. Those responses speak for themselves.

  Go on, read it. The ENTIRE thing, so you don't get my or anbody elses "slant" of what it says.

  See the section of "admitted" abuses? Oh, and notice the 1,000 plus more that don't "fit in the juristiction of the doj"? What about those too?

  And for my aforementioned link and topic of discussion provided in this post, I shall say to those who defended their position and government and called me crazy:

  Eat crow and enjoy.

  But, since we live in a world full of fairy folk and leprachauns, I guess it's okay to believe that everything will turn out for the good. That these "abuses" will subside, and your civil liberties will be returned and there will be rainbows in the sky and streets paved with gold....

  with this current power crisis in the united states, why isnt there any terrorist groups exploiting the situation?

  with overwhelmed problems on so many various levels of public service (law enforcement, medical facilities, airports, transportation), why not strike now?

  Wow. I was led to believe by the U.S. media and the U.S government (from Pres. Bush and practically every fricken law enforcement agency) that the people of the United States were under an ongoing threat from “terrorists”. Even a few fool hardy IDIOTS who have 30 minutes to cause major mayhem….uh, didn’t and aren’t.

  Not to mention the various countries that at “any moment” will lay weapons of mass destruction upon the people and cities of the U.S., don’t seem to be taking advantage of this situation.

  I wonder why there is no news from Iraq, Liberia, and Afghanistan today?

  If there is this air of such confidence that the U.S. is now under a major terrorist threat….

  Ack. I have to apologize to all.

  I hate editing posts. I really want what I typed to stand...and if there is a dispute I will fix later.

  Right now, I'm having a mix of Portuguese/Spanish with English. I mix rules, context, and words. My brain thinks one thing, and I type another. Grrrrrr.
