OK I am sick of this. One sided stats and facts. Does anyone even understand how statistics work??? You can just throw out a number without context. I'm not talking about guns but I'm sick of this idea that America I'd blood soaked orgy of violence and people parroting the fear mongering they here by media and polliticicians with agendas.
Violent crimes and murder in America have DECREASED by 50% over the last 20 years. Murder is about 4/100,000. Who EVER talks about that?? No one. Does anyone also know that the UK has 3 times the violent crime and 'Merica' per capita. Murders are slightly less but also consider this. The bulk of murders in America happen in metropolitan areas of 250,000 or more. Guess what. We have a lot more of those areas than the uk where everyone walks around on rainbows hugging each other and petty butterflies. Not being violent oh no.
I lived in new York City. 8 million people. Gun laws so strick it's basically impossible for a citizen and many cases even law enforcement to privately. Everyday people were more afraid of the word gun than witness are of Satan. It was a true non gun nut zone. However. Everyday in east new York and Brownsville. Shootings. These parts of new York are extremely dangerous. Riddled with poverty and crime. America is guilty. Guilt of allowing places like this to thrive in their metropolitan areas without giving real help on education, poverty and eliminating dangerous crime.
So don't manipulate the stats. To me UK sounds far more dangerous. You guys don't have all the metropolitan areas that foster murder but you still have a decent rate and you are three times as violent.
You guys should spend more time complaining about how we let pieces of cap like the Kardashians get famous and ignore the problems of the inner cities. Seriously
