Just think about it. If the gb blew the whistle they'd be doing half the work for us. -

I don't believe this can be foiled. I think it's bigger than that. Why? While the surprise of it is priceless. If elders around the world get a BOE letter warning them of this, hasn't it already acomplished something big? And would not those elders scratch their heads over the gb's concerns of what we do? If we are just mentally diseased devil worshippers? I think our cause is bigger. If they send a letter they are helping us by building the magnitude. So I for one would welcome it. If they talk about it and we do carry it out like we say. I say its still a win -

The End Is Near...
by freemindfade inso we all know and are seeing that as the org is taking some kind of financial beating it is being interpreted, either by design or not, that armageddon is coming any second now.
well from our vantage point we can see the only end that may be near is for the publishing company itself, wtbts, and not the world.
its sickening to hear loved ones and friends say this, that this means the desert god is coming to wipe out most of humanity.

So sick of the abuse...
by iwasblind ini am still serving as an elder but just hanging in there.
i think their quandry is that they don't see me out in the field, but when they need encouragement and decent prayer they come to me.. i just got off the phone to this poor sister who i have only met twice.
she is not even in my congregation (her sister is).

Thank you for really helping someone by listening and not repeating the WTBTS broken record. You are helping her to be ok with who she is, and encouraging her. Keep promoting love, acceptance and encouragement wherever you can. You're alright in my book

Does Anyone Still Believe in God?
by LaurenM indo any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?
even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.
the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

Will Gilead Go Away?
by freemindfade injust a total speculative thought i had.
with branches getting cut, special pioneers getting sacked, and bethel members going byebye, is there a need for gilead still?
(co's are probably on the block too lests be honest).. if they got rid of that i feel that would be huge.

Macallan is my favorite over all. 18 yr is the king of all in my opinion. Laphroaig is my favorite islay which I love them very much. Johnnie blue is good. I would be lying to say its not. I just feel it's not as good as its price. I'd rather go Macallan. And the japanes... they are coming up. Great whisky coming from Japan.
