That might be a shocking song form the contribution box lol...
"You know you want to.. just stick it in my mouth..."
somebody on another thread suggested that those still in could express their opinions on steven lett's performance.
i am still in and i was shocked, dismayed and saddened by it.
i became a witness over 30 yrs ago and the issue of donations was a non-issue for so many years.. now, it is a huge one for the org.

i know there are many posts discussing the may money requesting televangalism...er... broadcast i mean!
but i wanted to start one where anyone can put what they have heard any non-exjw, non-apostate witnesses say good or bad about the broadcast.
i don't see how it can't rattle followers... but then again i might be surprised how they can twist things (2+2=5).
As with many of you, I have the same elephant in the room with my wife where we don't engage in speaking about these things, even though these last 6 months I don't say anything, if she catches me watching the broadcast I might as well be watching pornography lol "why are you watching that!!!" Obviously its a combination of her thinking how this nonsense will look to me, and maybe how it actually makes her uncomfortable, anyone that can watch those videos at the end and not say "wtf" deep down inside even underneath the CogDis, is mentally ill.
I can see it playing out this way, the GB has trained the RF for years to give what they feel is enough, so a lot say "I don't have anything to give so i don't have to." When the funds don't increase maybe their message will get more and more blunt. They will point the finger more at their stingy followers and accuse them of effing up the work.

WTF???
steven hassen is a well known name for many, if you do not know him google can help.
this information is certainly not new, but as almost every exjw has deep affection and concern for active jws it is certainly my wish and i hope the wish of other exjws that any active jw considers this information.
this information cannot be deemed as apostate, it is just stating the opinion of someone who has spent much of his adult life in helping people to realize what a cult is.
Phizzy I agree, cult has almost become a derogatory inflammatory insult that doesn't carry its true definition with witnesses. And dangerous cult is more of true designation for them than just cult really. I like "coercive persuasive group" "High control" "Undue Influence"... etc. the great thing about those is you can use them for religions, countries like North korea and other groups.
But yes.. they are a cult lol

So please post comments you have heard from R&F, here is one I heard
"the organization is having issues because you know the bible said they would be attacked...."(pro org )
I would like to see some that are not pro org, where people actually got rattled, please use this thread to share what you've heard.http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/985479.
i know it's old but i never saw this one before.
.
and if so, does this mean that adam had already invented a timetable, and calendar?
couple of weeks ago an elder took a young man aside and crawled all over him after the tms for wearing a "skinny" tie.
it was one of those 2 inch wide ties.
nothing bright or scandalous about.
Its usually an insecure, ignorant elder with a highway patrol officer attitude. Its also generally in small rural halls. Elder pharisees. I remember catching crap when I was younger for baggy suits that were colorful aka zoot suits (it was the 90's!!). now its everything is too skinny, oy vey. @$$holes...
My last two halls I have known actually some amazing elders, they really change the norm, but they are such a small minority they exist no where else in america I am sure. They are older, successful, confident, and genuinely love being positive and helpful. They don't police and are actually very reasonable. I know it sounds crazy but for being stuck in I have hit the elder lottery twice. A handful of good people I would even call my friends and dear to me.
That being said again they are the minority and almost rebels in the org.
