  The Vedas - Scientific Knowledge - Prophecy - The Truth?

  the vedas are the core sacred texts for the people of the east.

  generally the vedas are to the east as the hebrew scriptures are to the west.

  supporters of the bible, boast of it's scientific accuracy,prophetic accuracy & general infallibility.

  Dude there are other fascinating things besides this that ancient civilizations had knowledge of that are staggering.

  What reason do you have to say it comes from "God"?

  Why not a time travelers?

  Why not aliens?

  Why not that they were more advanced than we can understand, then had a set back called religion that caused ignorance to reign?

  This just sounds like more Eschatology to me, barf.

  I don't see anything unique in any of this.

  I could write and eschatologic prophecy and people 1000 years from now would be amazed!! These things talk about human issues and nature, its a key that fits any generation.

  The Vedas also gave conflicting creation stories, and attributed gods with storms and such. Changed which god was "the greatest" and so on. Sound familiar? Religion all comes form the same toilet bowl.

  so i was fooled by the witnesses.

  what can i learn from that?

  not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

  hello all- nice forum.i have been contemplating a fade for a while, and i have been reading various sites such as this one.

  i have seen all kinds of things that have made me think.

  but something came to mind lately, and i wanted to throw it out there-satan was cast down to the earth, and he is supposedly the cause of all imperfection.

  Witnesses believe that garden of eden was a total accident, god wasn't testing mankind by putting the devil there to "test them"

  One of my great things I never accepted as a witness was that this was true, but after a thousand years he would..

  Let satan out to test mankind

  What is the point? Either this was his intention from the garden of eden, or this didn't balance out with it. He is testing mankind by introducing deception via this guy.

  Experiences Of Speaking To Another Awake Witness Without Knowing It

  this is interesting, i would love to hear of some experiences.

  i was speaking with someone offline about their talking to someone and coming to find out that person was waking up/awake too.

  the reason i find it interesting, is because it is such a fragile situation, a dance where the two people don't trust each other enough to just speak freely like they are afraid of being turned into the kgb.

  my parents were asking me why i was so upset lately and i ended up just telling them the whole truth.

  i told them i don't believe in god or the bible because i don't have any evidence of anything.

  Witnesses are tricked unto living a deferred life. Where they will wait until they die and wake up in a lion petting zoo to enjoy life. Many of us wish we could go back and undefer chunks of our life we gave up for a publishing company cult. Control the situation with your folks and work on your own understanding of the religion and the reality outside of it
