A lot of JWs are waking up, and maybe writing letters with difficult questions about the Royal Commission in Australia and other matters that expose the organization.

Agree 100% Letters, phone calls, people asking elders, elders asking branches and so on, the information coming in that is gauging dissent must be rising.

Some things jackson said effectively went on record castrating them. You can celebrate christmas, they aren't gods sole channel, we have a pedo problem, now they have to live with those things being on record from the horses mouth.

This could be a result of one of two things:

1. Dissent from resent bad press or organizational decisions directed at elders and overseers or

2. Preparing for future decision they anticipate elders and servants will not like

Either way they seem like an organization on the regular defense.

When he says "well this does not apply" just around/after 5:00 he is lying, watch his eyes.

This appears to be more back peddling from bad press, maybe ARC etc.

"We aren't dogmatic" when he is defining it he is saying its a belief that can't be challenged and he is in affect saying the GB would never do that. Ok, so let me go say to their face I disagree with their overlapping insanity... will they or will they not be dogmatic and DF me???

I see more and more they are trying to deny their real self. The double speak is going next level.

His body language and demeanor seems very unsure, slightly defeated. I wonder if they are having issues identifying how important they are and how they look post Jackson testimony?

hello all, i would like to first say that i am basically questioning my faith in god.

i am not negative towards the wt at all.

so honestly i am to concerned with more ad hominem attacks towards the wt because i still love the organization and the people in it.

Sorry don't mean to be harsh, but what makes me most bitter of all is willful ignorance. Thats the thing that keeps cults and harmful organization and radical religions n business.

Looking down into the auditorium too, there must have been a dozen separate contribution boxes just in the main assembly hall down the isles. As I am looking down at this during the session, I was thinking you cannot tell me that is vastly different from passing a plate!

Although like their rapture belief now, they will say its not on a small technicality. But it is. In that talk they said "budgeting to support kingdom interests". So how far away do we think they are from tithing??? I can hear it now.

Rational thinker: "We are tithing now? Isn't that what we've condemned"

Watchtower: "No we aren't"

Watchtower: "WE don't tithe"

You seem most concerned about the "bitterness" of those hurt by actions of the organizations and less about the reality of those actions. That is really unfortunate. My suggestion about your god questions...

Stay a JW, keep believing the comforting fantasies, and feeding them to other and recruiting more members. Believe those things until you grow old and pass. Don't let go of comforting lies for harsh reality. Wether god is real or not, wether mankind destroys themselves or not, you are better off with your head in the sand.

I want to give you an example of these actions you seem to believe aren't harmful.

Lett goes on JW broadcasting to tell all the loyal follower that the organization does not have a pedophile problem, and anyone saying different is "Apostate Lies"

Jackson is getting grilled by the ARC and admits that it is a problem .

Its a captive religion and a cult. The organization will inevitably harm members to protect the unity and illusion of the group. I think that is fair thing to be bitter over, and there are all shades of it here, I have a friend who walked away and lives a completely "worldly" life now, with no real consequences from the org. He thinks they are crooks, but I would not call him bitter as say someone who lost their entire family and social circle for merely questioning your cult.

If you believe the cult is not guilty of harm, you may as well believe in god and paradise and stop worrying about mankind, because they are all the same fairy tale. You are conditioning yourself to ignore evidence, might as well go all in.
