i thank one of my former lecturers for drawing my attention to this overview.. after some 100 years, living out its "manifest destiny" dream, as the hegemon of the world, what has this 'dream' done to/for the usa?

Why are people are more afraid of the trumpster holding office than criticizing Islam. Not of Islam. Just criticizing Islam.

Trump may be a knuckle head but I don't understand how you can compare someone who thinks a Mexican wall is a good idea to a much larger world constituency that subscribes to sharia law. There is no denying trump isn't the nicest guy in the world, but do any of you know the practices of sharia law???? How do you realistically logically compare the two?

As usual I think the internet virtual flag flyers on here swing so far with extreme.

Lol. If what you are saying is true ruby why are you afraid of trump??? Shouldn't you be afraid of Americans like everyone else on here??? Sounds to me your issue is with scary Americans. i am an 'active' jw but i do not agree with most of the doctrines inc blood, baptism, the memorial etc etc.i took the emblems at the memorial because i think we all should recognise and accept jesus' command to remember him.

not for one minute do i think this is only for the so called anointed.

i know it is full of man made error and that my fellow brothers and sisters are in a state of mindless, spiritual unawareness.

SCC it runs deep on here. And there is a general anti American slant to much of what goes on here. I just shake my head.

I don't support trump in any way and just because of what the virtue signal folks think about me even asking a question I got compared to a trump supporter. I think the question was what is the answer to the recent terror escalation in Europe and I got thrown under the new Godwin's/straw man Nazi figure.. Trump!!!
