Why should activists be united? I understand that strength of a group can come from unity, by I think the division are a healthy symptom of escape from that cult mentality of authoritarian thinking.

it was regarding their unhappiness over a few prominent individuals in the ex jw community, one individual in particular.
this individual who on the one hand produces excellent videos highlighting wt issues, yet has been known to peeve a lot of ex jw activists off.

by atomant infor some reason this subject has not received much attention over the years which surprises me.theres many conspiracy theories floating around on the internet and lve done my fair share of due diligence on the matter.the school is still out on this one.l find it very hard to believe humans are the only intelligent beings out there.has anyone on this forum ever seen a ufo or experienced a close encounter?

I did. And it was clearly a vehicle not a glowing ball of fire or light etc. I was also not alone. I still did not attribute it to ETs but top secret (probably CIA) craft. The reason we call it a UFO is there were there things about it that known existing technology is not capable of. So after seeing some thing like that your head is really tweaked. I guess it would be like someone in the 1800's seeing a cell phone or UAV drone. Just didn't make sense. Since then I've always been interested in the truth about these things. I have also found countless experiences of people who have see the exact same thing. Its not easy to talk about because people think you were smoking crack. But it really happened. So I follow all of it but it seems there equally or more nuttery and misinformation as actual sightings. -

Religion unfortunately is a very effective social technology. As Scientology and North Korea show it doesn't even have to be abrahamic bible based. I think the world has changed a lot, and I think it will take the next gen to really do without religion. -

Three reasons why I may have to back.
by Crazyguy ini look back over the last two years of my life with all the experiences i have read about here and other places and these are three experiences that stand out to me.
recently in another post a girl relates her experience of being in the borg and her mom literally threw her away by giving her over to the state after she accused an elder of groping her.
two; i met the man that wrote the insight books for the borg and even though he was at the time the brians of the borgs doctines when he faded his family , brother and his kids are shunning him.

Why are people are more afraid of the trumpster holding office than criticizing Islam. Not of Islam. Just criticizing Islam.
Trump may be a knuckle head but I don't understand how you can compare someone who thinks a Mexican wall is a good idea to a much larger world constituency that subscribes to sharia law. There is no denying trump isn't the nicest guy in the world, but do any of you know the practices of sharia law???? How do you realistically logically compare the two?

not all JW's are asleep
by Damascus ini am an 'active' jw but i do not agree with most of the doctrines inc blood, baptism, the memorial etc etc.i took the emblems at the memorial because i think we all should recognise and accept jesus' command to remember him.
not for one minute do i think this is only for the so called anointed.
i know it is full of man made error and that my fellow brothers and sisters are in a state of mindless, spiritual unawareness.
