Many reasons. Mainly the persecussion complex they carry. Go sit and listen to any public talk on a sunday. The first half will make you want to kill yourself because the world you live in is so "horrible".
They also live in the worst prison. The prison of constantly worrying what other jws think or you and at the same time scrutinizing and policing them.
