Life Update

well its been a while since i really posted on here, so let me give you an update on my life.. firstly; my dad got married and i didnt get an invite, kinda hurt.. secondly; two days after somebody reported me and megan to social services so we had to deal with that when i swear down on my little boys life i and megan havent harmed him in anyway, we wouldnt.

when she was pregant there was a risk he was going to be poorly, i would never put ourselves in a position where we might lose him again.

thirdly; i'm progressing toward being an ex-ex jw, its a big part of me but all i want is my experiences and thoughts to help others without the negativity involved causing me harm.

Stress Levels have been quite high recently but i've found myself dealing with things better, hopefully things are on an up - i cant say i feel unhappy, i'm enjoying my wife and son - noah is growing up into a proper cute lad, just like his daddy lol.

Anyways, hope things are alright with you folks, hope you read this Gary and give me a facebook update on the Pregnancy, love to your little growing Clan and you other folks here who have been great over the last few years.

INPUT NEEDED ON JW BELIEFS

i'm at the beginning of putting a package together regarding the wts and i'd like your opinion on which topics i should include.

basically, this would be a package for those who have family or friends in the borg, but who you think might listen to reason if it was presented in the right fashion.

it's not going to be a huge package, because i don't want to overwhelm anyone, but i want the information to be precise enough that it would stop and make them think.. so far, i'm thinking that i'd like to touch on the following:.

i think its a brilliant idea, its important to cover all the doctrines and WBTS nonsense that have giant holes in them for people to see the truth about what is going on. the result hopefully being, free minds that see the org for what it is.

607 is a personal favourite because of the HARD SOLID evidence there is, also good is Scriptural arguements but there are too many to list so choose your favourites, good on ya mary.

Thinking of becoming a Witness again and my reasons for doing so :(

i've been a faded jw for 10 years i left because of my failed first marriage, i'm no hypocrite and realised i had left completely so i embraced the world and dived in, only christmas and birthdays i could not get into, they were too foreign to me having never celebrated them, like if i suddenly tried to do ramadan or something like that.. 1/ all the criticisms of the people in the truth you say on here, i've found in the world, warts and all only in the world nothing holds them back from being utterly horrible to you.. 2/ i got stabbed by a worldly boyfriend, i got married 2 times of my own choosing to men outside the truth, the first smoked and was an alcoholic, the second gambled every penny we had and defrauded me out of money after we separated, 2 divorces later i am currently pregnant and a single mum since current boyfriend decided kids was to much of a responsibility and he needed his freedom and i was 'too selfish to expect him to give up his life'.. 3/ parents-in-law!

i have been shunned by them as equal to anything you accuse witness families of and for the silliest of reasons, i had a disabled son and his grandparents said they wanted nothing to do with him because they didn't want to become attached in case he died.. 4/ i miss the honest friendships of the truth, i had friends of all ages from 14 to 80 years old and they genuinely cared for me, many trying to keep me in the faith a long time after i left but i was determined to fade so moved away completely, but i find friendships in the world so shallow in comparison and very hard to sustain :( i've never been a drinker and sometimes thats what friendship means you being a companion for them to goto pub with.. 5/ my recent boyfriend was in a christian religion, i thought why not find out about it, harvest churches if you ever heard of them, unfortunately it still hasn't stop him leaving me pregnant and alone and when i said to him how does he clear that with god, he replies "as long as i repent it doesn't matter" it's like he has a "get out of jail free card" for any wrong-doing in the bible, this is so alien to me and my witness trained conscience.. 6/ i recently out of frustration tried looking into atheism and joined their forums, it wasn't fun, they are as bombastic and arrogant as their religious counterparts can be from any religion, they make a religion out of not believing in god, it's very weird they talk of saving people from believing in god and offer nothing to replace it.

they said to me "be happy you are in reality now and enjoy it" and i thought "well if this is reality i've had enough of it".

I've answers for all you've said, its not all black and white. There are people who've been hurt by people 'in the truth' as bad as people 'in the world' get hurt and sometimes worse.

For example a 'Wordly' person who is a Pedophile is no less of a Pedophile if they are a Jehovah's Witness are they?

The fact you find the real world and life so hard to accept is because its like being thrown into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim. JW's are not taught the full picture and because of this the Society can say what they like based on half truths.

For example

A serious Car accident. Two Observers approach one of the drivers, what happened? Oh the guy in the other car basically didnt brake and ran into me. You go to the other driver and he says 'Oh that idiot didnt give me enough room and i didnt have time to stop'.

Who's right? No one? Logic says someone is to blame and someone is telling the truth.

Notice how these 'true' friends abandoned you when they found you weren't coming BACK? If that is all a friendship is based on then unfortunately it has no substance.

I have a good reason for not being a witness. basically my little boy was born out of marriage and i wouldnt have met my wife if i was a witness and we certainly wouldnt of got together, if you believe the bible then read Job which teaches that God formed each and everyone of us with a purpose - so if my son was an accident and God had nothing to do with it, then how is he here?

Life is hard, hiding under a rock doesnt change a thing it just lets you pretend it does.
