Oh, my honey. The GOP doesn't leave anything to chance. There is a concerted nationwide effort of voter suppression/voter nullification. See, as we know, the more voters, the more the outcome trends Democratic. The GOP is extremely savvy when it comes to winning elections - governing, not so much.

I think another aspect of this tragedy is that people were convinced to doubt the signals of their own survival instincts. They were not just intimidated by this man, they were persuaded to deny their own physical, mental and emotional perceptions, even common sense.

Hmmmmm, ok. But the Republicans do seem to be somewhat organized in their primary objective - destroy the POTUS, even if it takes down the country. How patriotic.

100% of Republicans in Congress are on a fast track to sell out this country. 60% of Dems are on a slower track. Otherwise, no big difference.

a lot of people agree that raising taxes pulls money out of the economy and will hinder job creation.

Obama has openly said that he believes government should decide what percent of rich peoples wealth they can keep, and they should be taxed accordingly - that is, they should be taxed specifically to reduce their wealth, because somehow it is unfair to others that they have become wealthy.
