I live in the middle of New York state (very rural) and I can't think of any schools or universities near me that would be interested. If there are no takers by the end of next week I will discard them,

Finished Mystery (1917)... The book that Jesus approved...
by Alfred inso a few months ago, a friend sent me an actual copy of finished mystery which was published in 1917 (not a pdf download... the actual book).
i must say, this was the most disturbing book i have ever had the displeasure of reading.
but i only read it because this was the main publication that was being distributed worldwide when jesus supposedly chose the watchtower in 1918 and i basically wanted to see for myself what jesus saw in the wt that would compel him to choose this religious corporation over all other religious denominations.. anyway, if anyone is interested in knowing the actual contents of this book, here are some bullet points i put together from some of the notes i took as i read the book:.

Actually, she is wearing a skirt. It's very dark in that part of thephoto and she is dark skinned. But I zoomed in closer and there are definitely legs and sandals, but no pants. -

Buddhism Anyone?
by LaurenM inso, i have recently been delving in buddhism and i must say it all makes sense!
like, the philosophies and ideas are what i've always believed but could never put a name to.
for example, they don't believe in god, they teach acceptance of all faiths, that peace can be achieved - not by changing other people - but by changing yourself, that everyone has goodness in themselves, that happiness can be gained internally (not externally as a gift from god), and that life is temporary so we should enjoy it!

I know very little about Buddhism but it kind of bemuses me that I now consider a Buddhist monk to be a dear friend. I just sewed a complete set of robes with Korean style pants for him to wear at a wedding where he gave a blessing. Life is strange and wonderful. Who can explain it? -

A very insightful essay. Rather stunning to follow the reasoning and the inevitable conclusion. I still feel most spiritual when observing nature and animals and the wonder of my granddaughter but it is difficult to fully embrace a new form of formal worship. -

Using the "C-Word" With My Wife

Have anyone ask their JW family member to research "Signs of a Cult"???
by jam inif so what was their response???
if one look at the identifying signs.
of a cult and compare that to jw organization, there is no doubt.. they score very high on that list.. if there is a satan and i said "if".

Any Bone fans?

That's OK. I was too and I haven't seen it yet. I wasn't really mad at you. Usually it's one of my kids that spills the beans on me and then occasionally I spoil it for them. It happens.
