Haha.. The carpet matches the curtains.. And the wallpaper, and sheers.. ;-) Still nervous about posting my picture publicly but if you PM me one good reason i'll show ya me ugly mug.. ;-)

Most of the women here, regardless of age i would love to spend a weekend with exploring their perspectives. I'm a glutton for punishment. Not sure if that constitutes a crush or not but I have always made friends with females easier than friends with guys. And I am love with the thoughts and expressions that tumble from their mouths.

Jambons story - 10 yrs in the truth
by jambon1 ini had lots of questions at 17 yrs old.
i had a lot of respect for the bible having been told it was sacred and holy.
i was brought up in an atheist household but through circumstances found myself studying at age 17. the common sense of it all (it looks that way at 17) appealed to me and before long i wholeheartedy embraced the faith.

by BlessedStar ini heard something and i would like to know the truth so i'll ask this question..... how often do you bathe and change your underwear?.
i heard that people from certain places don't bathe for days and only change their underwear when it gets really deteriorated.. .

My mother always said that sci-fi was, "GOD DISHONERING."
But she didn't forbid it.
BTW "I have no mouth but i must scream" is an awesome short story.

WT Secret Document admits that only Elders and MS's are Ordained
by Elsewhere inthe watchtower society likes to tell its members that all jws are ordained ministers, but in reality only elders and ministerial servants can obtain a certificate of ordained minister from the watchtower society.
even then one must specifically state the reason the certificate is needed.
bottom line, the watchtower society makes it very difficult for any jw to receive such a certificate.. branch organization manual.

I always thought that being baptised made me an ordained minister.
Also found this..
" The correspondence clerk will make out all donation letters acknowledging contributions. The acknowledgement sent to a disfellowshipped person should contain just the bare minimum acknowledgement of receipt for the contribution with any required tax language. No Scriptural thoughts or greetings are necessary."
Really trying to show love and sympathy for the depressed souls.. Also confirms that they keep a record of everyone d'fd and reference it when getting private donations.

My dad is studying this book with my little sister in preperation for baptism. (she is 14, but homeschooled and still very "young"). I also am looking for interesting questions to post to her while she is studying.. Nothing blatant just things to encourage her to be a free thinker. (i already to lots of science stuff with her because she didn't get much science in homeschool, and we both are addicted to scifi) I think i can include this in the unoffical education that i am already engaged with for her. I am pretty sure if i can post-pone baptism for 4 years she will come to the same conclusion that i did. And yet wouldn't be stuck like i was.. (and am)

You all are reminding me of books i think are great... Asimov is the best, his commentary on the bible is excellent as well. (nice as its coming from the perspective of an agnostic humanist..)
Card and Herbert. Loved Dune but my favorite was Man of two worlds... (i think that was the title the one with the alien that was addicted to Basil..) Also Stranger in a Strange Land. Or any other by RH, He is the author that convinced me poloygamy was ok...
