  it seems as though many people come to this board and leave in a short space of time.. it's a pity.. there are people on this board who are very nice and polite even when discussing various views.

  I would like to think i'm nice. on rare ocasions I do cuss. I believe in and love God, but I don't think it is necessary to be nice. I think that dictionary.com's def of nice :agreeable in nature and of good charecter, polite and courteous might be a little bit better. Collegegurl it is difficult to be nice all the times because many people try to hurt people who are of good character. Thank you for your openess. Blessed Star

  Was Jesus sacrifice really a sacrifice?

  i would like to state firstly that i in no way intend to offend anyone.. its just when i was in the org i had major problems with the blood issue/death because of persecution.

  many times we were taught that god does`nt ask us to do anything that he has`nt done himself.

  now imagine everything the bible says about jesus really did happen.

  Jesus' sacrifice was an AWESOME one.

  But He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. There were witnesses.

  By the way people still do blood sacrifices with animals but nothing can compare with Jesus'.

  He came to set us free from sin. And free shall we be if we accept Him in His Glory and Grace.

  Some people are mean to others for no reason in order to quench their sick pleasure.

  Film Scenes that got burnt onto your memory

  what were some film scenes that pleased or horrified you so much that they stayed vivid in your memory for a long time?

  the one i always recall is the scene where anthony hopkins (playing as hannibal lector) lobotomised ray liotta (paul krendler) cutting off pieces of his brain and giving them to him to eat.

  he also took some of liotta's cooked brain in a plane and gave them to an unsuspecting passenger boy sitting next to him to eat.

  I'm sure Jesus hurt a lot of those Pharisees' feelings.

  He didn't. He did not get them sacrificed they sacrificed Him.

  The Pharisees did bad things.
