  Satan was in the garden of Eden. In Ezekiel 28:1-19 it talks about Satan before and after his fall. Satan works by using lies and twisting God's word to suit his needs.

  Snakes do not talk. This is not some special talking serpent but a name for a person. The place to find out who this person is, is the book of Revelation.

  Revelation 12:9
  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

  So now we know who the serpent is, Satan.

  The Bible records that The Garden of Eden is the place where Satan entered into the serpent and subtly tricked Eve. Satan misinformed Eve and turned her against God by enticing her into believing certain doctrines that he wanted to plant into the human race

  Disobedient sin is what separates all mankind from God. This, of course, was Satan's plan from the beginning, to lead the human race away from God.

  Is Jehovah a God of love?

  Yes

  With the word "hatred," we think of hostility, animosity, anger or contempt.

  But in certain places in the Bible the word "hate" or "hatred" is not intended to communicate these ugly feelings.

  eg Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah (Gen. 29:30). The next verse (Gen. 29:31) says that "The Lord saw that Leah was hated,".

  Sometimes, in Biblical use, the word hate or hatred - is not intended, and does not demand hostility or contempt. It simply conveys a ranking of affection.

  We are to love Christ MORE than we love our own family, and even our own self! Loving the Lord more than parents ... more than children ... more than brothers and sisters ... EVEN MORE THAN OUR OWN LIVES -- that is absolutely essential, if you want to become a disciple of Christ.

  Hope this clears up the misconception.

  you've heard about jesus.. you've choosen to believe or not to believe.. you've accepted jesus or you haven't.. let's say jesus came down now for his people.what would you do or say to jesus if you now know he is true?

  (keeping in mind that god is the judge and some people will go to heaven and most will burn in hell!!).

  it seems as though many people come to this board and leave in a short space of time.. it's a pity.. there are people on this board who are very nice and polite even when discussing various views.

  this leads to understanding and concern.

  i would like to meet you people.. please post in here.. i term nice as being kind, not cursing, love for god almighty, thrives on the right things in life, not hurting other's feelings, etc.. blessed star
