  i will begin by stating that i have been an inactive jw for about four years now and i currently have no plans on returning to the organization at this juncture.

  i have read many of your experiences with the jw's and wts and i can certainly understand the rage, hatred, depression, anxiety, and sense of hoplessness as a result of your association with the jw's.

  personally, i have had simliar experiences with the jw's such as an elder constantly chastising me for every "bad" thing i did by always informing me that " if i continued on the course i was on i would be destroyed at armeggedon.

  Do You Ever Have Dreams About Being A JW?

  i had one disconcerting dream last night.

  i was in a very large assembly hall and explosions started occuring and rather than wanting to leave everyone stayed and chatted like whatever was happening out there was not going to affect them inside.

  they were all very smug.

  Only when armageddon came and a small group of us had horse drawn carrages and had the "sisters" all hiding in them. There we were, all riding out in middle of a desolate place, riding, fighting off the forces of evil that wanted to take away the "sisters" and use them for such demonic erotic pleasures. We used swords and sickels to hack them up as well. When I woke up; I had to laugh since the reason why I had dreamed that dream was because I had seen Mad Max the night previously.

  So, so funny and crazy when you think about the concept of armageddon.

  YES! I'm sorry to admit, but he was a PIMP for doing that! I read all the posts and so far I've been cracking up!

  Another thing I would jump on the couch for is knowing that Oprah knows that I exist and wants me to father her child, LOLOLOL!

  I would NEVER have to work again, I would definitley make her look goood me as an armpiece.

  (I've just had coffe...excuse the rant.LOL!)

  - Having my boyfriend tell me that he doesn't want to be a Witness anymore - he's not "technically" a JW, he's not baptized or active or anything like that, he just clings to some beliefs (while ignoring most of them), and I'd love to get a phone call from him next month, saying, "Happy birthday, Becka, I love you so much and I'm not a Witness anymore", nothing would make me happier.

  Oh and mind boggling whoopy!

  Oh, yes..so you would get flashbacks of it without warning. Been there, believe me.

  As for the lotto...where I'm from, it always seem like there's always the same type of people winning those things, old retired ect. With the exception of the meat plant workers, I have not seen anyone around my age winning it in a loooooong time.

  Another thing that would make me do a "Tom Cruise" is that if they found a cure for ALL Cancers and chronic ailments.

  ....oh yes to dream.

  I love my life!!!

  i just had an amazing, albeit fairly typical weekend.

  i wanted to share with you guys and most especially any who are lurking or worried that life in "the world" leads only to crack addiction, aids, satan worship, etc.. friday: i had a fabulous evening out to a very nice, funky little italian restaurant with my 10 of my friends.

  they'd gathered to celebrate my birthday early.
