  i was just wondering that in the bible it states that at a time that you do not expect is the time that the end will come.

  do you think that for as long as there are end of world religions then there will always be some expecting it at the correct time?

  or maybe the religion or the belief that it is near will peter out due to the constant disapointments?

  So if you believed in the bible then that scripture wouldn't apply to those people then? I guess it takes away its meaning a bit as it should say, "at a time you don't believe it to come (except for certain religions who are waiting for it), it will come"

  So I guess if the end was to come (i'm not saying it will) but if it did, then there will definately be people expecting it? So that scripture where it says 'at a time that you don't think to be it' will not apply to them then?

  I'm not too good at explaining things, I have re-read my opening post and realised its not too clear.

  my second choice is steven simon's (the guy who did "what dreams my come") movie about neale walsh .

  "conversations with god" it is in the theaters now.. .

  Must be good if you've seen it 4 times. I'll look out for it. I watched Constantine the other night and really enjoyed it. I don't usually like those kind of films but I was surprised.

  although i'm not df'd, some won't look at me, but those that do, have a funny look that seems to say, too bad you wont make it in the new world.....

  Hi Truthsearcher & welcome

  That's really rude. My study conductor did that to me all the time. She would quite often shake her head and roll her eyes too. It really hurt my feelings and made me feel so small. What annoys me the most is that I initially blamed myself for saying something silly enough to make her react like that. Now I know that she was being self-righteous and rude.

  What kind of things did you say that made them look at you like that?

  Feeling very down right now.

  today has been one of those days for me.feeling very down and depressed.. finding out that you were living a lie for so long can be devastating to many.

  Hi Jakes, Great title. I was thinking the other day how there needs to be more ex-witness books. I've read both of Ray Franz's and Diane Wilson's was another good one. One called 'In the Truth' by Paul McCool but that was fiction - still a good read though and typical of the witness behaviour. I haven't heard of any others so am really looking forward to yours.   Hi Annie, Hopefully you will, that would be so funny. I imagine bumping into them and being all pleased to see them like nothing ever happened. If they ask why I left I would treat it like it was just a silly hobby that I got bored with and tell them I'm learning cookery instead.
