The End of Jehovah`s Witness`s

we see alot of topics on the board about the end of the wbt$..i don`t think that will happen in our lifetime........so..lets change our focus..kingdom halls are getting fewer and fewer jw`s in them..congregations are being dissolved and kingdom halls are sold off..many jw`s are very unhappy and we see alot of them on this board.....the wbt$ is a billion dollar organization,they will survive for along time to come..........how about the jehovah`s witness`s?.......with fewer and fewer members..information about the wbt$ on the internet..and..some very depressed jehovah`s witness`s looking for a way out of the cult they are in.....will the "jehovah`s witness`s" survive?...outlaw

I think the org will change as it always has according to the times.

One thing it has against it though is TIME ,after all it is a belief based on foretelling an inevitale ending....so if it does'nt end surely their comes a point in time where the twisting of scriptures must end ,and people will get deflated in faith for that brand of religion .So to survive it must lose it's history and re-invent a new one .In part this has been done for it's hard to get older publications and the JW's are kept distracted and busy with the new stuff and discouraged from reading and questioning the old.

This site like others is a strong weapon along with time to expose the JW religion from with-in and that's where the damage occurs ,I believe , not so much to ordinary folk who hear about them on the news for they are just another religion to them .That's why the GB has always fought so hard to fight any free thinking and questioning by labelling it apostate .

To say they will disappear is a hope only in the short term ,but they will change for they will in time drag up scriptures like this one from time to time and focus on it in their KH talks,Their Assembly talks and literature ,and this will push the rank and file to try again when they feel low on energy.................................

Reading something, that made me want to spit FIRE

i get a news letter called tidbits.

in it talks about things that are going on involving the jws, morman's and other groups.

any ways i was reading this article about how the wt is called a "pedophile paradies".

This is sickening and along those lines I asked our old book study conductor whether DNA from a rape kit be acceptable as a "witness".

He did'nt know so he researched it and told my wife some time later it was {the trouble here is I don't know if this is WTS policy or him just reasoning on it}

Still a problem is whether this stands up as only one witness or covers two witnesses because it is forensic evidence.

This leads to interpretation does'nt it ,as forensic evidence was'nt around in bible times so how is it now the WTS can bend their 2 witness rule based on their understanding of the scriptures and put aside two living people needed as evidence in favour of forensic evidence.?This to me shows they have it wrong, for they are now twisting their own rule ,they say they get from the bible, in favour of a modern procedure .This does not mean I agree with the 2 witness rule ,I'm just exposing their hypocrisy. Damn I feel disgust for that scum.

I like this JWfacts , in fact I'm sending a copy to a freind now ,she'll be impressed too I'm sure ,it's just so simple and pointed and would raise doubts to a honest person.

Spinal steroid injections.

has anyone had multiple spinal steroid injections?

i am going to be having the second one in five months and i have read up on the side affects long and short term.

has anyone had longterm side affects yet?

BrentR ..Had this procedure and it was extremely painful for little benefit and short term - L3,4,5 and two disks in the neck as well .The surgeon then suggested a year in traction in hospital getting bolted up but I said forget it .

Injuries 18 years ago ,had injections about 12 years ago but then stumbled on a procedure called (excuse spelling) percatanecous myotomy ,which entails having the nerves severed in the muscle tissue ,but they heal and relieve the pain like nothing else did. And then over the years saline injections to the back ligaments which make them stronger to support the damaged area. PM me if you want to know more. I was a cripple ,but work regularly in the building trade now.

Erandir .....It is only a "what if" I would not like to hear of a event like this in reality ,but I am surprised that in a big city like New York with so many WTS prominent buildings and the activity of them and by whom ,that someone has'nt tried to take exception to the GB.

I guess they would seize the opportunity to martyr them , but then ,how many non JW people around the world knew that Rutherford and his cronies were in jail and who knows or cares now?

A couple of comparisons: the WT of today vs the early 1970s

the other day i happened to make my monthly stop at the local fast food joint when i usually borrow one of the community newspapers for an afternoon read.

this time around i see a couple of wt magazines.

as always, my concerns for my fellow man caused me to grab these toxic items for a later meal -- a meal fed to my cross cut shredder at home.

Skimmer I recall the Watchtower study articles were longer and more in depth ,whereas now they just seem to drone on about immorality and loyalty to the FDS

how come the watchtower never comment on famous jehovah witnesses..?

terrance howard said he wants to "become a jehovah witness" but he is in a movie by watchtower standards warrant disfellowship action.

how come current witnesses dont see through the bs?

I think their too busy looking for brothers with university qualifications like lawyers to prop up their dying system to be worried about famous people who can afford spin doctors to hide their tracks.

All interesting thoughts but it is just a "what if" and is unlikely to happen but it would cause a hell of headache for the WTS for a while.

It's just interesting to read the papers or TV and see that people go and kill others for sometimes no apparent reason ,and yet the GB have put some people thru terrible turmoil in their lives because of their policies.

It surprises me that some disturbed soul has'nt tried to become a vigilante ,but I doubt Holy Spirit has protected them ,but rather they do try to keep a low profile unlike say some church or political leaders.They use the scriptures (discreet slave) to hide behind in mock humility, just like the plethora of CO's DO's etc who we've seen copy their crap at "oh we're just like you" ...yeh right
