how would you explain to them that they are not really better than the rest of society and that their religion is not superior to serious christian religions?

I resented the lack, of brotherly love and warmth they were promising you before you joined, you leave the world your friends and family to find a really cold and uncaring environment.

The very worst thing that hurts every day is that I subjected my children to this religion. The pressure they went through because of my bad choice, the loss of Christmas, birthdays, all celebrations that make a childs world fun and memorable, the pressure to conform at the KH and sit like the "good" witness children, the questions from classmates about why they don't do things, etc., etc. The fact that now they don't know what to believe because we are starting over and they went through it all for nothing. I hope I haven't damaged them forever. That is the worst thing, worrying about what I've done to my kids.

Amen elliej, me to, my two daughters, it literally ripps my heart out thinking about what they have missed over the past ten years

once we determined that the 'truth' was not, there was much more to do in getting deprogrammed.

i have become aware that i have used a few mental games to 'unlock' from the watchtower mindmeld.

I second Jeff, of course, I never quit smoking, that's why I couldn't ever get baptized, LOL

My favorite? Went to a haunted house last October while taking my kids trick or treating, LOLOLOL. It was fun! Scared the crap out of me! What a head rush! LOL

can someone direct me to scriptures in the bible that show that adam and eve will not be ressurrected.

i ask because my wife, who is a jw insists that this is bible base, yet she cannot provide me any scriptures.

I always wondered about that to, even if it were true that anyone disobeying a direct order from Jehovah will not be resurected, Eve was deceived, fooled by a lie, I don't understand how that could qualify her for permenant death?
