  The Catholics said the same thing back in 1987-1988. Jesus and Mary had come and told seven secrects to seven children in Greece...............and the last secret was that there was going to be 3 days of pure and utter darkness, you wouldn't even be able to see your hands in front of your face, with demons runnging around. It was supposed to have happened shortly after it was announced, ............................ok, it's 2006?

  Fake, Liars, etc. Love you into the so called "truth", then sink their claws into you, while you run kicking and screaming.

  One sticks in the mind, riding my back about not letting my kids play with any other kids except JW kids, there were nonearound my house. And secondly, telling my 16 year she cannot attend college. ?

  whenever there is bad news around the world, the jw's turn this into good news for them, because they see it as a sign of the end, so they are encouraged.... if less people join their religion, they will say that the end is close because everyone must have made up their mind, so they become encouraged.. so, what can discourage the jw's?.

  Physically Abused by JW

  i have just read a post by think, saying he was physcially abused by jw many times, .

  i am sorry if this has ever happened.. is it true or was think just exaggerating since i have read many put down posts from think about jw.. is think trying to extract revenge to them?

  or just one bitter person who has been thru many terrible times with in the jw organisation?

  just wondered as im prob about to give up so much, coz i dont think it is the truth but its come as such a shock!.

  my family believe it so much, my dad feels he can answer any question i have, and being brought up in it sometimes it scares me.

  Since 1879, they have spread misinformation, false dates, empty promises, lethal medical advice, idiotic sets of rules and regulations and completely and utterly distorted the words of the very prophet they claim to represent, Jesus.

  Exactly, as one of the newest religions there is in history, who are they to say they are the only ones that have it right, when the bible has been around for thousands of years? There idiodic practices weren't around before the 1800's? Scared? No way!

  Fading ain't goin' so well.

  i've been wanting to post updates for awhile, but i have been paranoid that my posts would make it too easy to identify me.

  right now i don't care, so here's what's happening if it's helpful for anyone else who is trying to fade.. first of all, as of my last update i was still hanging around some of the witnesses socially and it came back to bite me.

  after that mess, i pretty much gave up on even trying to pretend i can have much in common with most of the people at the hall.

  After almost a decade of pure torture and abuse, completely false sense of belonging and being loved by hypocrites, this site is better than any pill, even prosac, LOL. But seriously, Y'all are awesome. Obviosly, a tremendous amount of people here, I'm sure, have been helped in an astronomical way. The short time I've been here, I can certainly believe so.

  You did the right thing, if they can throw that WT BS in our faces, you throw your ball with your REAL friends in front of there faces! tit for a tat! ( next time, make sure you throw the ball in their general direction, hopefully at one of their heads, might snap one out of the brainwash) LOL

  oh that was mean, sorry ...... maybe
