What has been your response with telling "devout" JW's about the UN scandal
by booker-t ini was talking to a elderly jw's lady at the donut shop the other day and i brought up the un and the wt scandal.
this woman told me that i was lying and that jw's leaders would never be apart of a "satanic" org as the un.
she said that "apostates" are spreading vivious lies about jw's and are only telling half truths.

January 15 Watchtower: Angels
by GramblingMan ini'm here looking at my wifes watchtower mag and it has a drawing for the angels, maybe it's me but all the angels are white men and they have beards.
i'm oversensitive or is this a message they are sending out to the readers.
i thought the anointed ones are suppose to become angels?

Your opinion is exactly how I feel, or think so to speak. I was not raised a JW. The only religion grew up with was that of my grandmother in which she was a Seventh Day Advandist. I only learned of the JW's when I married my ex husband in 1997. I feel, or have the opinion, that people which were raised in this religion have been done wrong so badly that they don't believe at all. I still believe, just not the JW cult way. It's such a shame and so sad However, you put it into words exactly the way I would have

I believe in the Christian God, not the Jehovah God of the Watchtower.
Me to! Thru Jesus of course.
I've been busy all weekend, getting ready to move, YEAH! But I see I have missed a lot of discussion. I will try to catch up this week! Thank you all for you input!
