  it used to be the knowledge book.

  is that changed?

  I quit studying 12 months ago. I was using the Knowledge book, and they switched it to Draw Close to Jehovah. They told me that was the one they were going to use for new bible studies

  Did you feel uncomfortable going into churches when you were a JW?...

  i remember going into churches when i was a jw for wedding or funeral and feeling a sense of dread.

  i thought the demons were going to come out of the walls at me.

  and of course i had the self-rightous attitude that the church would be destroyed soon in armegeddon.. recently i've been helping teach a karate class at a local baptist church.

  The father of the guy i'm dating has been a baptist minister for 20 years. I went to his church about 3 monts after the last time I had went to the KH, seeing all the humungous crosses gave me the willies. Now I don't think it would bother me,and I actually want to go back. But it was creepy that time. And they were taking comunion also, I just passed, felt strange

  OH yeah, that's why I married the jdumbass that I did. His arrogance about how good looking he was got real old fast. The perfect example of beauty being only skin deep. I'd rather have the chubby man, LOL

  They keep the sabbath from sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday, not working or anything as you mention above.

  Exactly, she would watch the news on Friday to see exactly what time the sun was going down.

  They also don't eat pork. They stick pretty much to the first testament. I forgot one time. Sitting in the Waffle House with her, she said was I was eating looked good and asked what it was, I told her it was a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich, you could hear my name being shouted outside the place, LOL! I had commited a horrible sin! LOL

  Yes, I was actually surprised to find that some of the JW religion came from SDA's. REALLY surprised! But then, my grandmother told me that when she was a baby, her mother was a Bible Student, and that she was bounced on Rutherfords knee when she was little, (poor thing)
