heard it from the wife of an elder and several dubs first hand..im hoping that along w.getting humbled a bit,she will also see what the 'big deal' about sex is.she used to say that she didnt like it at all{when we were still on speaking terms} and she couldnt understand the big deal..maybe she will get some fine actioin in and finaly realize that its a good thing..a very good thing...

A Bad experience with JW is a permit for SIN?
by El Mariachi ini've been reading some sad experinces here... i dont see anyone talking about the bible... only how misserables the organization made their lives... ok ...so because of that...now i have permission to smoke marijuana and commit fornication?
this sounds pretty much like aa... and everybody having his/her personal "superior power" who is giving them the permit to do whatever they want...
i've been df for 4 years now and also dont agree with some jw teachings... why instead of blaming the wt for everything dont we look for the real truth in the bible and make things right.

First encounter with a Scientologist
by glitter ini was on a mad-dash daytrip to edinburgh today, and in the morning we were up on the royal mile.
being the fringe we quickly attracted about eight trees' worth of advertising.
most of the people flyering were dressed in costumes or in t-shirts advertising the shows, but some were in ordinary clothes.

I have neighbors who are scientologists and they are fine fine folk..the rabid ones dont really seem all that much different than members of any other cult,dubs included.of course their might be exceptions to what ive seen and all,but ive been to parties w.flocks of em and they seem like pretty ok folks to me.they do try to get you to go to their services,and all.but again,so do all of the other controlled chaos type groups...

One of the reasons that i got disfellowshipped was that i shacked up w/an unbaptised jw..i got the ol' heave ho..he got nutthin!!!!! they didnt even talk to him about it!!!!it was cause he was unbaptised and also that i was more,um,ahem,"experianced",cause id been married.He was a total newbie when it came to carnal matters,but i was a jezebel..it all makes total sense tho,when you consider that women have always been temptresses and whores trying to drag poor innocent boys and men down into their pit w/them.we are supposed to be 'helpmates' to our husbands.hey,i dont remember any protests tho...

by Annie Over inwhen i got off for lunch today i decided to go to the walmart deli and get something to eat.
it is a huge store, groceries, a bakery, mc donalds, a bank , eye center, beauty shop, a great deli, and a huge garden center.
i had taken back a 80 gig hard drive dvd recorder ( i couldn't figure out how to hook up <smile> and had received 238.00. i picked up a couple of things in the store then went to the deli.

Annie,Im so glad that you got yer purse and all back.Ive had similar things happen to me,but Joey Ramone is looking out for me..He helped me find a ring that i was sure was lost last winter.It was in between the couch cushions.Also he made sure I wasnt home when my house burned down a few years ago...Jehovah or Joey Ramone,its all good.....Im happy for ya....

i remember that time..it was prozac and the like..in some cases i think its more the person than the drug..in another thread i mentioned that some drugs,like vicodin,work well and as intended for some while for some,they destroy any semblance of sanity..i believe that some depressions are caused by a chemical imbalance and can be rectified by chemicals.i know that some dubs say 'just read matthew' or 'pray,pray pray'...but its like being gay,you dont really control it.you is or you is not....thanks for the input,i appreciate it more than you can imagine...
