Why would "devout Witnesses" have their daughter/sister at a place called "St Barnabas?"
Good catch!
My guess is that they are unable to care for her themselves (interferes with Kingdom Interests) and that hospital probably accepts Medicare.

a bronx woman with internal bleeding was on the verge of death, and doctors wanted to save her with a transfusion.. the only problem was the incapacitated patient's family wouldn't allow it because they are jehovah's witnesses who believe her fate is in god's hands.. the clash of modern medicine and religion led doctors at st. barnabas hospital to rush into court for an emergency order - granted tuesday by judge faviola soto.. "the attending physician felt it was urgent that if she didn't get a transfusion, she would die," said st. barnabas spokesman steven clark.
"hopefully, the patient will be okay now.".
the patient, jean leslie, 55, is a stroke victim who had been living in the st. barnabas nursing home since 2008.. she was admitted to the hospital on may 21 when doctors noticed a problem with some blood tests, according to court papers.

so if you see me on the news next week, yall know what happened.
i expect letters and money.
you can't even get toothpaste with out money or giving a hand job in prison in texas.. .
I mean this with complete sincerity... ...........Talk to your doctor. You comments on this board for the past week, the situations you are trying to manipulate/maneuvuer (sp), changing of plans, the girlfriend(s) stuff, and your interactions with any poster who has tried to get to slow down and think before acting (or consider a different approach). All these things lead me to encourage you to talk to your doctor NOW. ...............................Something is 'off kilter' and it sounds like you need help stabilizing before something cracks inside you. ................................I say this because I've been there and you are scaring me. .........................-Aude.

He did alot more than that.
I did not see the offensive post myself, but sounds like it was completely inappropriate and intended to incite an argument rather than reasonable and rational discussion.

As best I can tell, B-pebble edited his post a bit and then Simon did the rest.
Of course, though, with the 'new' site, it's impossible to tell who really did the editing. Could have been the original poster, a mod, or Simon.
I do cringe when certain people show up and derail threads. Very annoying - like unruly children running amuck. I'm happy when a adult gets the mess out of my face and sends the kids to their room for while to chill-out.

I was on Zoloft - off and on for several years in the 90's - and really hated it. It flat-lined my emotions and when I skipped a few days my heart would feel so much lighter. Then I would crash and be an emotional wreck. Eventually a different doctor suggested Prozac. It was a better fit for me.
Regardless, I don't know that it's such a good idea to quit both at the same time. Sounds like a recipe for psychotic disaster.

http://www.jwforum.net/portal/ i found it in the twitter section.

Convention NoteBook?
Is this something handed out in the KH?
It's the first I've ever heard of this. We all took notes, but never had anything already printed out.

i was thinking about having the washer and dryer downstairs in the basement.
i would like to know what should i convert laundry room to ?????.
it is not going to be the bathroom, any ideas, suggestions.
Another fridge/freezer could be put there (or downstairs) or a little alcove for computer/homework desk.
Storage for cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner.
I still prefer a washer/dryer to be nearer the bedrooms.

Sight unseen, if it was me, I think I'd keep the washer and dryer where they are and do some renovating of the basement.
*MY* washer and dryer are upstairs (where the bedrooms are). It's so convenient to not have to haul loads of laundry up and down stairs. I can't imagine trying to keep clothes clean in a dank and dusty basement.
Have fun with the renovation.
