  renewed active cooperation of the WTG as an NGO at the UN

  there is news about the wtg's cooperation with the un as an ngo.. according to the un, every ngo is obliged by statute to actively work towards the goals of the un.. the historical case on the same topic, from 1992-2001, should be known.. at that time, the cooperation was exposed by a report in the british daily newspaper “the guardian” on october 8, 2001.. the wtg canceled its membership a day later under the pressure of outrage from some congregations.. many witnesses couldn't believe it and wrote to the un asking for information as to whether it was true.. the un response letter is still available on the un homepage.. here is the link to the un statement.

  would they be counselled if the elders became aware?.

  Satan and his demons are always watching us and are experts at catching our subtle individual behaviours to get clues on what will tempt us.

  They then use this insight to entice us to sin against Jehovah and the org.

  Demons attaching themselves to household items was terrifying.

  My dad often gave the public talk "Deliver Us From the Wicked One". I traveled with him whenever he gave that one. All sorts of anecdotal stories of demon possession and the need to be always alert to ways in which Satan and his minions can harm us and draw us away from Jehovah.

  A few years ago I attended an 'Inter-Faithless' Beach gathering.

  All sorts of people who had left high-control groups were invited.

  I was chatting with a group of ex-Mormons and ex-Muslims. One of them said "We always felt so sorry for the JW kids. They had it so bad. The only thing worse than growing up as a Mormon was growing up as a JW!"

  It's a very lonely childhood. Not allowed to have friends at school. Friends at the hall are dependent on how spiritual (outwardly devoted) they - or you - are.

  Must never dress with current style. Always ultra conservative and extremely modest.

  Did Geoffrey Jackson lie under oath at the ARC?

  i understand he intimated that the faithful slave was not the only spokesman for jehovah god.

  he also intimated that corporal punishment was not advocated by the wts.

  we're these lies or deception or did they represent the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?.

  There was a qualifier in his answer.

  Something like 'it would be presumptuous to say we are the only spokespersons...'

  When he said it, I remember thinking he misrepresented the JW view.

  Then my 2nd thought was "Huh. He didn't lie. It *is* presumptuous."

  AND THEN...

  When Deborah did finally get to the point when should wanted to publish, the copyright itself had issues because of the taint that Lloyd put on it.

  That created extra costs and further delays.

  The 1st 2 minutes of Kim's (Newly Enlightened') video on page 98 of this thread is a good, succinct synopsis of origin of the lawsuit served upon the Mag 7.

  Great point highlighting that daughter's comments (NINE years ago) were to/about 'John CEDARS' - an anonymous internet bully hiding behind an alias and an avatar.

  About halfway into the video Kim says: "Obviously he doesn't understand legal matters".

  Lloyd doesn't understand most tenents of normal, productive, decent, respectful and responsible adult human life.

  But Lloyd does understand bullying, berating, trolling and harassment.

  He is an expert.

  I don't know anything of KimMikey's daughter's activism. But I do know that she is just one of dozens of exJW activists who Lloyd bullied off of YouTube and other platforms including JWN. It's a shocking shame that this happened to all of them.

  Most of the xjw activists who ceased their public activism did so because they were just too exhausted from 'dealing' with Lloyd. It was not just taking time and attention from their activism but also from the other aspects of their lives (spouses, children, jobs, hobbies, sleep, etc).

  For the past 10+ years, Lloyd really has had nothing else in his life to really focus his attention on and be accountable for.

  A good argument could be made that Lloyd's primary focus and purpose in life is Bullying.

  XJW, CSA, and any other activism is - for Lloyd - merely a platform or cause on which to conduct his Bullying.

  what happened to jehovah’s witness young men and why did it happen?______in the 1960s men of draft age were called upon to either serve in the military (during the vietnam war) or to comply with the alternate service option: serving in a hospital or community in need.. non-jehovah’s witnesses were faced with only one refusal: military service.jw boys and young men were instructed (in private) to refuse the alternate civilian service as well.

  the superior authorities had made this exemption for people of conscience.the law was clear on this.

  if we worked in a hospital community we would be free to go about our witnessing ministry - if we double-refused: we would languish in prison.a no-brainer to them.

  My heart goes out to those who were not just emotionally abused by WTS but also permanently scarred with completely unnecessary criminal records at the whim of men who were/are so far removed from the realities and functions of normal responsible adult life.
