Looks like she *did* get some decent comments on the other thread, though.

Elpiro or any Sincere comments welcome by an active JW regarding their beleifs
by Butterflyleia85 inelpiro.
this is sorta directed to you as asking rather then telling... i am studying the bible and go to many teachers/sources of the bible... (my sins are being paid for and thus my credit as a christian in no way is held high enough to make claims of im right or your wrong in the eyes of a jw, but im still being humble and live now according to gods standards with my study in the bible and christian believes, so be open minded to the facts of my credit to your idea of standards) my views are expressed below thru use of the bible regarding the comment you made on this thread.... .

2. Jesus commanded all christians to participate from the bread and the wine during the memorial, this command was repeated by Paul, and in John 6:53 and surrounding verses, Jesus made it an absolute condition for salvation. So why are JW teaching that you should abstain? Is this not barring the access to salvation?
2b. 1 Cor. 11:26 states: “For as often as you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the death of the Lord, until he arrives.” If Jesus came invisibly almost 100 years ago in 1914, why keep doing it now? Is that going beyond the things written?
This was one of the questions I asked years before starting my fade. The only response I ever got was furrowed eyebrows and scornful look as if to say ' Why would ask a question like that??'

OK. Found what I was looking for on this thread:
http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/experiences/67969/1/My-life-and-how-JWD-came-to-be-Part-4
And from that thread, here is the quote I referred to earlier:
They went over several things. I knew I wasn't going to convince them to change their mind so had nothing to lose. I could g odown guns blazing. I kicked large holes in several doctrines and told things like they were, everytime they swiftly switched onto something else. I told them how angry I was about missing so much time with my father only to see the bullshit they had written on their website about ex-members not being shunned and not breaking family ties. The newbie wannabe elder made a glib comment that if it offended me, I should just not read it.
I showed then quotes from their own literature to back up everything I said which they just dismissed. Finally, they got onto what really mattered to them ... my website.
It was clear that this was *the* biggest factor in the whole affair. They wanted to know if I'd be willing to take it down and hinted that this whole affair could probably be forgotten about if I did. They wanted to know how many people visited the site. I leaned forward in my chair and said "about 16,000 a week" (it's gone up a bit since then!) and then added "that's more than you get at a district convention once a year isn't it?". I really like that 'seething elder look'.
The newbie one made one of his rare interruptions saying that they didn't like some of the things that were on the site (I bet!) so I got in his face and repeated his own words back to him from earlier: "well if it offends you, simply don't read it then".
He wasn't threated with legal action. He was threatened with Disfellowshipping. In context, the above conversation took place during the hearing to Appeal his Disfellowshipping that happened because he refused to meet with the elders at the KH for 'a chat'.
Maybe not quite what the OP was looking and asking for, but, asided from Quotes' website, it's what comes to mind.

In Simon's story(My Life and How JWD Came to Be), he tells about being called into a JC and being asked to take it down.
I will look for the link and quote in a few minutes.

I guess I should have left active JW out
You might be able to start anew thread stating just that and then cut and paste a link to this thread.
Maybe that will help.

It's not because I don't believe its teachings, although I certainly do not, but because the Society crosses that line in the sand.
Nicely put. I agree and like the succinctness of your words that I plan to use them next time I have discussion with someone about the WTS.
Hopefully you don't mind me plagerizing them...?

Still one of my favorites.
Dave - Haven't seen you here for a long time but I think you may lurk once in while. Hope you are doing better and having fun. Did you ever write the follow-up? Many of us would love to hear it.
And if you haven't written it yet but would prefer to just verbally record it, I would volunteer to do the transcription.
