Sort of.
They (the active elders called upon to make testimony) didn't read ANYONE's statement so, technically, his response is honest.
However, recent WT directives dictate that no lover of Jehovah should listen, read or share reports from ANY person speaking negatively of the organization.

There are many posts with the links to both the full written transcript and the YouTube videos. The commission's own website has the written transcript. Barbara Anderson has all the links to video on her website: www.watchtowerdocuments.org.

Edit to Add: I found a link to transcripts for Study 28. JW hearing is 'Study 29', so perhaps there is a delay for the Commission to post the transcripts after the entire hearing is completed???

Female Questioner: [paraphrased]: Where does that understanding come from?
deRooy [paraphrased]: Uhhh... It's know among the congregation.
Female Questioner: [paraphrased]: But *where* does that understanding come from? Where is it written?
Common sense *could* have been the answer. But JWs do not use their own common sense. They are trained (with fear of displeasing Jehovah and ultimate destruction at Armageddon) to look to and to trust the lead of the elders and WT dictates.

Female Questioner: What training do you have as to what scriptures to use when counselling [people such as BCG]?
DeRooy: [paraphrased] I think on what would be appropriate to the case... [yadda yadda yadda]
Female Questioner: But you haven't had any *specific* training on what to do in cases of sex abuse, have you?

What other sorts of matters would court consider. Aren't 'legal' matters the ONLY thing that courts of law consider???

LOL And yet isn't the 2-witness rule part of Mosaic Law????

I wonder the same thing. Each elder has the same story. The same lack of recollection. The same arrogance. The same unpreparedness for their presentation. The same non-review of the 'witness packet' provided by the commission to each witness participant.
Why didn't WT attorney(s) change up their strategy? Why are they sticking to the same prep work and letting each of these elders get shredded in the same manner as the others before them??

Village Idiot asked: How many more days will this inquiry last?
According to the official RC website schedule, the JW portion of the hearings is to run for 2 weeks - thus scheduled to end this Friday (Australia local time).
