  2017 figures released to bethel families worldwide:.

  peak publishers: 8,457,107. total baptized: 284,212 .

  regular pioneers: 1,225,279 .

  Regular pioneers comprise 15% of PEAK Publishers?

  WOW! That is significant ratio. Granted, the carts and reduced hours requirement make it easier to attain.

  But 15% of PEAK is significant. I wonder what the number of Average Publishers is?

  Would that bring the ratio up to near 20%?

  If so, that is one of every five witnesses - pioneering.

  Sounds extraordinarily high. Impressive, even. Thus, very sad for the sheeple.

  At least they feel they have some purpose for themselves albeit deluded purpose.

  15-20%. I am very surprised at this.

  How and Why the ARC into Child Sexual Abuse In Institutions Came About.

  a program is to be aired on abc tv tonight called : "undeniable :the advocates and agitators who fought for justice" to be shown at 9:30 pm aust.eastern daylight saving time in victoria.. while it doesn`t show anything from what i can gather, about jw`s ,it mainly concentrates on the catholic and anglican churches and if you want to make a comparison the abuse in the jw`s pales by comparison as an institution .. having said that their were some/one champions of jw child sex abused that made sure by their arguments that the jehovah witness religion should not be excluded from this royal commission as they wern`t initially included in this enquiry.. the full/final report of this arc is to be handed down later this week..

  matured mentally

  i dont know if any one else is feeling this but after waking up i feel like i matured mentally etc.. im only 13 maybe its just me but i wanted to know if any had this feeling just a quick post..

  I was painfully aware of how immature and naive my thought processes had been. I was in my 40's and had to start learning how to think as a mature, informed person.

  I am happy for you that you have this keen awareness at such an early age.

  This fairly large kiosk was set up at a 'youth fair' in Miami USA.

  It's real odd. A kiosk like that costs thousands of dollars to make.

  It's just odd from every angle.

  Yes. A few.

  About 13 years ago someone (outnfree) mentioned my family by name in a thread about KingdomHalls.

  A former bethelite friend found me here because I mentioned his real name in a thread that showed up in Google search. I apologized profusely and had the post removed. (BIG mistake on my part but he says he is not upset.)

  Someone from my old congregation and I posted same info on a thread. A few pm's and we reunited.

  Two years ago a new poster with a username that pretty well identified himself. His ex-wife was daughter of my former PO.

  There is another person who has pm'd me their number because we definitely knew each other in 1978. I have not yet returned that phone call.

  A few people know people that I knew (from former KH's) but I do not remember/recognize those posters.

  I *think* that's all. But could be another that I'm not remembering right now.

  Does anyone know what happened to outnfree??

  My parents found out

  so in my last post i talked about how i had told my younger siblings how i didn't plan to get baptized or ever be a witness.

  i thought i could trust them but i guess i was wrong, they're just kids after all.

  my oldest brother (who's 11) told on me today.

  Just because someone is 'out' of the JW org, does not in and of itself make them someone you should trust.
  

  We know little about you and even less about your aunt.

  I think that Zeb and Giles Gray and jp1692 and other posters made some wonderful points.

  Respect your parents. Play nice with your family. Get a job and save as much money as you possibly can. Get an education. Don't get baptized. Time is on your side. Use it to your advantage. An education now will be the BEST investment of your time.

  my little brother on the left exited the cult after 29 years.. me in the middle.. my older brother on the right stopped his bible study after discovering ttatton youtube videos.. never lose hope guys!.

  just curious how we all think.. what prompted or influenced your choice of username for this forum?.

  there are some really amazing names, and it would be great to hear the stories behind them.... mine was nothing fancy.

  i just felt "stuck in a rut too" along with so many others.

  this 5 minute ted video perfectly explains what a cult it.

  it does not mention jws, but perfectly aligns with them.

  it is put in a manner that would make some understand why jws are considered a cult.
