plmkrzy I just read regarding the so called investigation sounds like bunk. If anyone wants to get involved then by all means get involved...don't fake it for what ever reasons.

Pork Chop This whole thing doesn't hold water, especially if you know any real officers. I guess there really is a sucker born every minute.

I guess now I understand why things happened way they did at the meeting. Funny it's easy to see now just how easy it is for people to get away with child molesting in the Jehovah's Witnesses... I can only hope the rest of you will do something to stop it. I am sure you will keep coming in here and telling how you want justice to previl and the abuse of children to stop and that's all you will do. Just keep coming in here and talking about it. Prove it to yourselves go to your congregations and talk with the elders behind closed doors. Boy are you going to get your feelings hurt.

Yadirf All you've got to worry about is the truth. If you're not afraid of the truth, then why not produce the info? You are a defender of law and order, are you not?

That's true, but anytime they want to take there i am game. I am willing to show just how christian they were acting up in there.

Funny how dective keeps talking about the abuse of power coming from me but he haven't said one thing about the elders abusing their power over all their memebers to keep them quiet and from speaking out.Talk about being two faced.

It just occured to me that maybe there are a few people in here who really wanted a change but there are many of you are hurt by my going there (congregation) to confront the elders. At the same time you are forgetting they invited me. I guess it's just all talk coming from some of you. They really don't want a change at all. I was told twice in mail that some are using the victims for self-serving reasons. I see that now. I don't mean the good ones here . I am talking about the ones that really have a problem with me at least trying to put an end to the abuse. You don't give a damn about them,Maybe there was some truth in yo yo's words the other day. I don't know.

detective And one other thing. I do believe I DID warn you to use caution, review your goals and be perfectly clear that you were not there on official business. I think that's when you implied I was a lawyer(?) or otherwise tried to laugh off my warnings? So please don't suggest that everyone was gung ho on your approach. Again, I'm glad you feel motivated, I'm just not a fan of abusing power.

You sound just like those elders in that room, they don't feel they should obey the law unless they are getting something personal out of it. Tell me why don't you go and use your knowledge with the elders who knows maybe you too can make a difference in there. After all you give great adivce behind your computer let's see you go there and stop the abuse than come and question me.

shimmer I have attended 5 different KH at different times and we have never met at 7:30 am. And children are usually not allowed to "run around and play", and the teens were usually not separated out on different sides of the KH.

Sorry wish I could argue with you about if the Jehovah's Witnesses let their kids pick their noses or not in the congregations but the truth is I don't know what rules they have for children there. I can only tell you what i seen. I was there at 7:30 am. I didn't say the they were on different sides of the kingdom hall I said, they were in separte groups. Girls on one side boys on the other. Left side right side. get it.

Notice the part where he says "if we do not bow to him he will see us in hell". I can't imagine a JW elder saying that

They were saying a lot more than hell in there. Like i said, if i have to subpoena all those witnesses up there I have no problem with that , but the truth will come out if they want to take to the public. It makes no difference to me.

Let me tell you, if i go down because of this and just one child went to the police when hurt it's worth me losing everything..No i don't know what you are up to I do know you said you can't resepect me so you can't be up to any good. Do what I did investigate it on your own.I just don't trust you.

Teejay, I want to say this one last thing to you. Any of you at any time could have asked me to hold back. But instead , you all encouraged me because you said, you didn't want to do it yourselves for one reason or the other. I have no reason to believe you lied on anything you said. I do what I do everyday, i check into things. Some things can wait longer like a homocide investigations may go on for over a year because lack of evidence.
When it comes to children crying out for help I don't just put that on the back burner for anyone. I don't care where it came from.

I agree with TR next time you go I am sure you could make a bigger difference. Have you made any changes since you have left? Do you go back and make sure the kids are alright? I mean after all you have known this longer than I have. Go back this sunday and tell me what happened.

teejay So you read something on the Internet; you received fifty emails from god knows where; you extrapolated from that the dire and urgent need to go down to the Kingdom Hall and sorta do an off duty investigation... try to see what dirty little secrets you could uncover at THAT Kingdom Hall... how many arrests you could make... how many children you could rescue.

You are right I don't know if i did any good but i can tell you this, they know now they can go to the police and tell if they or their children have been hurt . This was admited infront of everyone. Atleast I didn't say, i don't believe these people because they were on the net telling it. I didn't just sit back and wait for someone else to look into it. When someone runs up to the squad car and ask for help I don't wait to see if it's true I go right away and check it out. It's just the way we do things. I am not going to go over and over on how the police think differently from others we would be here all night talking about it. I can say ,if what was told to me on the net was not true those elders wouldn't have gone all out of their way to stop us from telling the members they can get help outside of their organization.
And again I didn't put over half of what happened in the congregation in the board. It was not for my protection. I don't have anything to protect myself from.

I won't lose my job over them JT i have proof what happened in that meeting. I am not putting it out yet. When the time is right.

I appreciate your efforts. Please let us know what the REAL truth is about Bill Bowen. LOL!

LOL TR. To be honest with you, I don't feel they are going to say anything differently than they did in the meeting. And that didn't go well at all. They never answered my question about what makes them qualified to take over where the court system should rule alone.

BEEPERS: How did they know you are a police officer? Did the Brother you were interested in tell them?

They came by my home one day because the brother I was talking with sent them by I later learned to sign me up for a study. I told them at that time. I am proud to be who I am . I am not ashamed of my job.

Teejay: At the same time, being suspicious (even accusatory ) of ALL JWs is not right. Her partner Darryl, who's NOT been coming here or personally investigating but forming HIS opinions on second hand (if not third hand) information, has a worse attitude... starting an argument in a place of worship.

My partner is like a brother to me, he comes by my home almost every day we share so much with eachother because of what we have gone through together. He doesn't come here (board) to talk with all of you but he has read from the same sources I have read from. He will read all of this tomorrow when he comes by to watch the shows with me and have a couple of beers.

teejay I understand everything you just said, I can tell you many stories of cops just stumbling onto corruption,it really does happen. However, I never came here expecting anything like what I have learned. The first time I came here I asked for advice on how to get into a man's mind. I didn't know anything about Child molesters in their churches, to be honest with you. When I first read at the silent lambs webpage I expressed doubts to others in the mail. The very next day, I came home from work and found no less than 50 letters in my mail box talking about being raped and the cover up from congregation elders. Of course I am going to look into it and send the letters to the FBI It's common for this to take place when you receive letters from all over the net telling you they or their children were raped.
If this had been something coming from another religion not one Jehovah's Witnesses would deny it or have a problem with the way it was handled.

In defense of my partner he knows I wouldn't bring him into anything that I didn't feel should be looked into.
